When I first started watching, I found these spaces jarring and scary. But with each new video, I'm starting to genuinely appreciate their beauty. Your passion/enthusiasm is really contagious!

It is almost hard to comprehend how big some of these mines are. If you research some maps, it truly is mind boggling. The 30 minutes or so he shows us, he could spend days down there going through it all. I cannot even fathom how these guys did it back in the day with a flame and hand tools.

Nice find of the mine !! Those icicles hanging down from the timber ! I think I would have come back on a warmer day with waiters ! That small opening you crawled through reminds me of the great escape !!! Opens up nicely after those boulders and nice gob walls, that is sweet looking and the history that goes with it !! A few years ago, one of the open cast mines nearby came across an origional drift mine as they dug down, interesting to see the grid pattern. They found carts etc and were very careful to remove and preserve what they could. Those were 1800s mines. We can't explore the coal mines in our immediate area, far too gassy.

First, I must say your filming & editing are amazing. Also, the number of times you're walking back and forth or crawling through a small doorway for the effect is crazy. So glad I found your channel, and I have to agree that this mine , is really awesome visually. H aving said that, I think most of your mine explorations are cool. Its such a cool experience, similar to when I used to explore the mountains/ fells of Scotland, Wales, and the Lake District. Of course mine was above ground, whereas yours is below. Its awesome to me to see what lies hidden and forgotten beneath our feet and landscape. The lost history is such a shame.
