This was definitely my favourite Dark Cut game, it was the most challenging, and the medic you play as was very likeable, he was very competent for what could be achieved with American Civil War medicine.

Step 1 to surgery: Get everyone as drunk as possible Step 2: theres no 2nd step for you anymore, you lost your leg in the war.

God. I remember once i was doing tbe second surgery, when i went to go remove the shrapnel my hand twitched and jammed it back into the guys head...yep...had to start over

Back then I screwed up the second part where you remove the shrapnel in the head, I slide the shrapnel inside and it killed the patient instantly lmao.

Not many games pull off what Dark Cut did back in the Flash Era. We have some surgeon games, yes, but nothing as raw and gruesome as Dark Cut. Back then, you could really FEEL how critical every step felt.

Yeah, it was. Most of their jobs wete just amputating people's limbs. So depressing...wars are always depressing.

​​@@MrNoob-wc3hvGuess you can say this medic was truly competent in that regard, the only amputation he had to do in this game was on himself, due to the wood giving him an infection whilst trapping him. Removing a bullet before bandaging the severe wound, removing shrapnel from near the brain, ridding a soldier's leg of maggot infestation, he truly knew what he was doing without having to resort to amputation.
