Hope this get ported to switch thats where i have the first game. Really love the game. Its my favorite strategy rpg like better than fire emblem. I loved in the first game every chapters battle was different ill be fighting bandit than helping civilian escape than me and the crew fighting a bloody dragon that was very fun. Am finally doing a second playthrough because its the best strategy rpg on the switch that affordable hm maybe i should get the DLC but ya fun game there were bugs in my game am not sure how many but definitely the last boss fight was bug since there were no force fields protecting i think orbs i had to destroy so might of made the last fight easy still was a long fun fight. The characters were pretty unbalance or classes but i remember just steam rolling emenys with one of the adepts classes just was like super tanky and if hurt i could just heal from one attack. This game is looking more fun and interesting so looking forward to more of this game. Wow 3 years it been from the first game.

I sat in on a couple of the dev streams and it's SO MUCH more improved. I at least understand the context that the first game was created in so I'm more accepting of it's lesser qualities than others. It's so nice to see how they're using the first game as a stepping stool to go above and beyond.

DD2 trailer looks like it improved upon a lot of things from DD1. I'm always excited to see developers keep improving on their craft and it shows. Charles is also such a nice guy on his stream.

I was pretty hyped for DD1, but ended up dropping it. Seems like the devs listened to player complaints and are fixing a lot of the issues for DD2 - I'm cautiously optimistic for this one.

i think the biggest question i have is about how the game runs. i know there was a lot of menu "jank" for lack of better words, especially when using a controller to play the game. i'm hoping that this time around, menus are more polished and intuitive and that just navigating the game feels improved and is up to current standards.

First game have a baby mode you can also customize alot like make it so you gain alot of money and experience points.

I had a blast playing dark deity 1 and i hope 2 gets a bit tighter writing as it had the potential but spread itself pretty thin. The character designs look awesome though so striking!

Here’s my burning question: will the devs be potentially working with someone (like Limited Run, 1st Press Games, etc.) to produce a physical release? Asking for a friend 🤤 super excited for this sequel!

The one thing I'll be paying attention to, is if the dev team will be fixing bugs this time around. Because if it's anything like Dark Deity 1, where they stop fixing bugs after a while, then that's a hard pass for me.

I still didn't finish the first game even though i bought it day one. My main issues was the feedback (mostly retlated to sound design) when moving units across the map (maybe that's just a me problem) and also the translation issues in other languages witch kinda ruin the UI when moving units across the map (i'm french and idk if they fixed this issue i haven't play the game since then). The consequences is that, aside from the combat animations, the game fell is kinda mediocre. It's not that i can't move past these issues, it's just that i've played game than interested me more but i'm still looking forward to DD2.

Whooooooaaaah. Ii kinda skipped the first game because it didn't visually do much for me. But I'm SUPER INTO the character designs of this one. And everything you're showing off is delightful.

I’m glad they have a new narrative lead. The story was easily my biggest complaint with the first game.

Just recently received my physical copy of Dark Deity for my switch. Very much enjoying my time with it despite its quirks 😂 Never expected a second game😱 I’ll only be getting it if theirs a physical version available as I won’t buy digital games. Oh my who’s the lady in black armor with green hair? She’s stunning ❤ game definitely definitely has my interest now. Please tell me she’s a main character and not just some side chick👻

The maps get so much worse as you go on. Some maps are literally just empty gray squares for the whole map with enemies placed randomly around the open flat gray floor.

The dragon battle was pretty dope. How often do you play a non fire emblem game and your whole squad have to fight a huge dragon.

@@zerokura I can probably name at least 10. Pretty much every Dragon Quest or Final Fantasy game, Dragon Age series, Skyrim, that is like over 20 games right there. Fighting a Dragon boss is pretty standard.
