😮A true master of the writer's craft. Many imitations but none to match REH. RIP

It really is too bad that he had so many personal demons.

And this was pulp fiction. Americans were better educated back then.

Only four good things that have come out of Texas are Fritos, Dr. Pepper, Willie Nelson and Robert E. Howard.

Pronounced "louwering brows", (lao-ring), not "lowering brows". lower "to look dark and menacing," also lour, from Middle English louren, luren "to frown, scowl" (early 13c.), "to lurk" (mid-15c.), from Old English *luran or from its cognates, Middle Low German luren, Middle Dutch loeren "lie in wait."

I picture Daniel Day Lewis as Solomon, maybe because of The Crucible

We only put an ad break at the beginning and end because we don't want the story to be interrupted by ads.
