Hi Wanderbots! Love your content! At this point I have gone through book 3 and I have to say that yes, the game is a bit long (About 2-3 hours per run depending on if you go through a bunch of events/stories (faster) or do a bunch of fights (slower) ) If you play the game again I have one tip for you: If you go "all in" on one damage type (the most common method of playing), you have to either find a way to have a bit of damage for the damage type you don't focus on or have some devil essence always stored up because there is an elite fight that forces you to burn through his HP AND SP to beat it and if you can't do both damage types you will be forced to "cheat" his HP or SP to 0... Wanted to tell you this one things because that is a classic "you might just instantly lose if you don't know that" kind of info...

Oh this sounds gooood. Not always a big fan of storybook roguelikes but this seems good. Edit: oh that's not what I thought a storybook roguelike lol. It thought it was like that one game you played a few months back

The problem with the tutorial battle is that the dev team made it clear you can't win with Van Helsing's absurdly high HP. Unwinnable battles to progress a story are fine, but they should have obfuscated the fact that you're supposed to lose to give the player a false sense of hope and surprise when the game doesn't end after losing the battle. They could have given Van Helsing a normal HP amount, but make him dodge every attack, or have him heal to full after losing all his health.

I have a question: is it possible to gain "main health points" doing dmg to your characters or no? Cause that would be super usefull to do before doing the last blow on a fight, i guess is not possible but still xD Also, try to "steal" enemies defensive buffs sometimes, helps A LOT
