I love your formula with the cute outtake at the beginning, your logo and mini portfolio over music, your cute greeting, your very tasteful but not pushy reminder that subscribing is an option, and your little cup. It makes the whole thing feel very conversational and natural. Great content, really.

Joanie, this was a great video. I love your style of teaching and how you explain things. I am an experienced photographer (with gear) that is just now moving into food photography. As you said in one of your vids, I know enough to get a job, but I also don't know what I don't know. The intricacies of the food genre are what I don't know, so thank you for giving me a jump start on my food photography journey.

Awsome vid Joanie. Love the way you guy's in the US hack up foam core, for flags and bounce cards. Here in Australia this is cringe worthy, foam core costs the same as a soft box LOL. Not quite but $22.00 per A3 is the norm. After watching this twice it had me heading straight to the shooting table. Thank's for your efforts.

Thanks so much for this video! I only shoot food for fun, but this actually really helped me with my professional photography that pays the bills. Seeing how you built your set & controlled your lighting was so instructional, and my very next shoot on black was so much better after watching this; much cleaner background and softer lighting on my subject. Judging by comments you've gone from ~6K subs to 30K in 3 months and I'm not the least bit surprised - you deserve them all!
