Nothing to see here but a bunch of guys mucking around and having a laugh and a fabulous final image! Couldn't agree with you more... a touch of common decency from the photographer would have gone a long way. Beautiful image at the end and the light you ended up with was just about perfect. Such a tricky spot to photograph. Almost lost my life on that road back in 2017.

We had the 70mph driver come down at us during this one, a quick scramble to move the tripods was needed

Hi Darren, what a location, absolutely incredible! What is there in the water that the trees grow like that? :) Fantastic that the road goes over that hill for getting this kind of wave back to the distance. I love the light in the shot at ~07:58. Walking people through the alley is indeed a good idea, for getting a sense of scale. Or to emphasize the mysterious mood: I'm thinking about a little girl with a white nightdress, standing there and looking with eyes tight open towards us, which could lead to a quite scary feeling, even. But I know, these horror girls are never around when you'd need them, haha :) I like your photos, well done, buddy! Nice greetings, Christian
