Pls pls keep doing more of these kinds of recommendations; dark romance is my favourite genre but I just got into it this year so I haven’t read a lot & I’m on the hunt for good ones to add to my collection. I have only read kill switch by penn Doug from this whole list & I loved Damon. To death. Even from the first books lol for some reason I just loved him thru & thru & he’s definitely a dark hero i fell in love with. I have read the four horsemen series by Laura thalassa (pestilence is the love of my life lol) so I might pick up her books u recommended here. Thanks so much for the recs! 🤗

I've only read two Experiment in Terror books and so far not too creepy. My favorite dark authors are Aleatha Romig, Pepper Winters, Pam Godwin, K. Webster, and Tillie Cole's Sick Fux, which falls into Horror Romance. I need to find that Laurelin Paige duet, I know I have it along with Raw. My October TBR is growing with each of these videos!

I just finished listening to the Captive in the dark duet and it was so good; the subject is very heavy so it took me a few chapters to get into it, but once I did, I couldn't stop listening. Though dark and painfully explicit, the sex stuff wasn't gratuitous; the book was suspensful. If was very well written which is not always the case in the genre and the narration was great.

if you loved monster in his eyes you should definitely read the spin off duology menace and grievous about a character that shows up in the third novel, Lorenzo. He's so fucking hilarious yet scary as hell at the same time and im obsessed with his and the female protagnaists romance. It's not as serious as the other novels, given lorenzos humor, but its still a dark romance and he is for sure a bad guy you fall in love with. Also that mouth is good for more then just snarking off ;;)) I think I love his story more then Ignazio imo lmao

@@LaceyBooklovers I'm not sure either, there is very little info about this book but I like that. If you like fantasy romance, have you read The Cruel Prince by Holly Black? The romance isn't very obvious but the world Holly creates is AMAZING. I was very confused while reading this book because I don't often like stories like this, but I couldn't stop reading this book. I'm waiting for the last book to come out in November before reading the second book in the series.

OMG YES! I LOVE dark romance! I think most people are too afraid to read it/talk about it. I have not read any Mia Knight yet. I will add it to my tbr! Have you read any Nina G. Jones yet? Her dark romance books are awesome! Oh and Whitney Bianca's duet called "I Know What Love Is" is also really good (though I liked the first book in the series the best). Though I warn you- the "heroes" in these stories are really not redeemable. They are, however, very interesting from a psychological perspective . 😇
