"The Eight Noble Virtues of a Samurai" is a concept album inspired by ancient medieval Japanese lifestyle and Samurai code of conduct. It speaks of forgotten virtues by which men led their lives and fulfilled their duties in the realm of mortals. Musically and stylistically, inspiration comes from kabuki theatre music and old Japanese koto folk music.

Last year I did a Ghost of Tsushima, sorta Ronin style cosplay and this was basically what I played all day in my room while working on the costume. I had so much fun that Halloween that I eventually saved up money, ordered historically accurate bakama to replace my old hakama (since I already own several shinken, or live blades for martial arts practice) and even got the han-kote gauntlets armor to match.
