We human beings, really need meat/pork/fish to improve own immunity system. For anyone who eat only vegetable for a long time, his/her immunity will be low and not able to fight off disease in the critical moments if he/she gets sick.

I don't believe that. I think it is a personal choice. We can still get enough protein from the plants. We can eat some beans, peas and tofu. I have been vegetarian for about a year. I have more energy now then ever. I don't fall asleep as easily anymore. My immunity has been improved.

@ Well, it's great that eating vegetables helped your body. But i saw many comments on youtube videos that point out because Barbie Hsu is weak, not very healthy(almost died on giving 2nd childbirth in 2008 and fainted on stage on 2018 when gave a performance), so she should not eat only vegetables. Not enough protein for her. well, every one is different.

@@stoneforest7897 Despite the joke that I made previously, as someone with a degree in exercise science, I should know that someone can definitely get enough protein and energy from a vegan diet. Meat is not essential. I work with 2 vegan olympic athletes in my country

@ Well, my mother has high blood pressure and heart disease. She is age 78. Her classmate told her, need to eat meat and fish for protein, only vegetables alone is not enough. Also, i have a friend in LA. She is age 49. She was all veggies 7 years ago. But when i met her in 2020, she told me now her diet does include meat/chicken/beef, as she has heart problem, dr asked her to include meat in her diet, that VEGGIES alone is not enough to support her body. The dr is heart specialist in downtown LA hospital. She said her chinese herbal dr said the same thing.
