@@zHolyy Chain Material and Secrets of Dark Magic lets you surprise summon Quintet on your opponents turn and destroy their board (potentially multiple times). It's not that competitively viable but it's a funny troll strategy that I've been using in Legend Anthology.

you can put upstart goblin but chicken is really good combined with magician soul so you'll see it in pretty every dark magician deck i make

When the card says "Once per turn:..." is what its referred as a soft once per turn, it means that you can use that specific copy of the card's (not name of the card) effect once that turn. That means if you have 2 copies of the card, each can use their effect once per turn. Also, if the card uses the effect and leaves the field and is brought back, it counts as a new copy of the card and it can use the effect again. Now, if the card says "you can only activate (cards name) effect once per turn" is what its referred as a hard once per turn, it means that you can use this cards name effect once per turn so it doesn't matter how many copies of the same card you have, only one can activate it because the restriction is in the cards name (and all the copies share the same name) not in the specific physical copy of the card. I hope I explain it more or less clear, it's kind of a mess. XD

I wish I had the brains to pull out your DM's plays (please don't misunderstand me, heh). I find Dark Magician a tough deck to learn, lol. Would you recommend me an easy deck to get the hell out of gold? I'm thinking to swap to Eldlich or Labryinth... What do you think? Nice vid, tho.
