I'm surprised when they got to 'Raspberry Beret Universe', when Jason realized it wasn't the right place because the remembrance tree wasn't at the house, he didn't consider the possibility the Max might be alive.

Correct. But that's not my point. He knows that. It's the consideration. ALL that time there, and it never crossed his mind? He thought about the food and hotel room. They talked about if Amanda found her other self. They had time to think and discuss what core traits make you who you are in each universe, and Jason's similarities in temper and dancing. Prince transcends universes (thank goodness), but certain candy bars don't. They even took a beat to consider if they wanted to stay in the same bed or not... but never, "Hey, the remembrance wasn't there. Maybe Max..."

The "was-it-Leighton-dancing" is the #1 controversy online about Episode 6. Some people vehemently believe he was NOT in the scene. While others are sure it's him. IMO, it looks like him--with some cosmetic differences.

Theory on why they haven’t been able to open up the right door yet: Amanda’s subconscious does not want to confront Evil J and in turn…confront her utterly tragic relationship with him. And that’s why they are close, but not quite there. She’s a therapist, so she figures it out…that she’s the one preventing them from getting to OG Jason’s world.

Ah this is a good point. We've definitely been exploring the romantic side with OG Jason on the podcast, but this is definitely the flip side to that conversation and entirely possible. She was looking longingly at the other version of her with a family, and maybe it hurts to think about how she thought she could have that with Evil J but the truth was it could've never happened for her.

TIME TRAVEL is possible in the show because decisions do not occur in a linear fashion. There will be worlds where an event that already happened elsewhere is imminent, possible, under consideration, and far from consideration. In this way, you can travel to places where specific events have not yet happened.

This is a good point and they did confirm it when they travel to the world where they watch Amanda get shot. How do you think it will play a role in the story?

Yea it will be interesting to see what kind of police involvement there is. They were sniffing around Velocity Labs in Evil J's world!

Yes she is definitely in love.....hard to blame her for having feelings though! The man she thought she loved turned out to be a monster, and a kinder, more family-focused version of him fell into her lap and now they are on an adventure across the multiverse!

Yes we've been VERY interested in the snap sound. It seemed like it was consistent when switching from OG Jason to Evil J, but then it stopped doing that.....

How does this effect jayson with ryan disappearing from the universe? Cops will know based on cameras that Jason is the lasy person that was with ryan. No body no murder but cops would come looking

Yea there are most likely universes where they are together for real! Their personalities/foundations of self clearly have an attraction or the potential for attraction. In Amanda and Evil J's world they were in a relationship, OG Jason & Amanda have a connection, Criminal World possibly....

@bingetowntv, 💯 Amanda has to go, if her mind is not absolutely clear then it effects Jason's travel. I think she is realizing this and her note is that she wants a world she can jump off at & let Jason go. (Jason might travel better with another J instead of Amanda) i mentioned before that I think EJ has left a wake of destruction or changes at least, behind him while he was figuring which J's life to take. What happened to THOSE J's .. or any other J's that perhaps our OJ has affected during these jumps?? We are assuming that we have only two J's but not necessarily because the show keeps telling us there are multiple possibilities. i think somehow OJ gets help but it will come from another J. Whatcha think???

Apparently each decision creates a new branch universe. I think there are now an infinite # of J's roaming the multiverse trying to get home. Theoretically he could run into another verson of himself like how the wasp lady did 😆. Good news is, that should also mean that each J out there, has an equal chance of returning to a world that feels like the O.G world. For example, if EJ would have bought their son a blue car vs a red car. Those are technically 2 different universes. And there are an infinite number of choices they could have made from that point where J was stolen from his O.G world. So that means they'll all have a home to return to. Also it's sad because I think J will never get back to his actual universe that he belongs to. And if he does, there's not universal address to confirm its his original one.

How much time in total since jayson got hijacked do you think its been since hes traveled the multi verse? A week.. 3 weeks? A month or two? If they ran through 40 ampules im thinking that its already been at least a month since his journey began

I do wonder how often they travel/spend amps. Are they continually popping new ones when they wear off? They've shown us them sleeping a handful of times so it's probably been at least a week, but probably more? Evil J only attended a few classes, but we don't know how long the "negotiations" with OG Leighton lasted.

People have said they're adding a lot of things to Evil J/Jason2's storyline but I doubt they would change the ending drastically! Can't wait to see how this wraps up.

Thanks for your breakdowns! I’m really enjoying this content! I do have a question about when Jason 1 and Amanda are in the world when they separated for the day. Jason 1 heads over to the art gallery and sees blonde Daniela, and to my recollection, later that day we see him looking outside of his house seeing another version of Daniela (brunette) with another version of him dancing together. He later tells Amanda that he followed them the entire day, etc. So how is it possible to see both blonde and brunette Daniela in the same world? He can’t have left that world because he wouldn’t be able to get back; and Amanda accused him of leaving her behind and he said he’d never do that to her, which was true. I’d love your thoughts on this? Maybe in that world Daniela has a twin sister? Because blonde ‘Daniela’ never gave her name, she only said that she was the ‘artist.’ She said she didn’t recognize Jason 1, so she was a different consciousness than Daniela.

A part of me thinks this is an issue of weird editing because I just went back to the blonde Daniela scene and you can pretty clearly see a scar on Jason's face and the rubber band on his hand so to me that basically confirms it was the OG Jason. I could be off on that but after looking at some online discussion, that's where I'm at right now. I love the idea of this world having twin sister Jennifer Connellys though haha

MONDAY NIGHT QUARTERBACK THEORY: Jason2 from "The Upsidedown" would have had a better chance smoothing everything over if he just used the drug as his scapegoat for all of the weirdness. Instead of trying to pretend everything was normal, he should have allowed there to be strangeness and explained it by saying, that he closed the 50 million dollar deal by selling off his current research to a top secret company. And that he's been testing a drug that targets the brain on himself and it's caused a bit of damage to his long term memory, but it isn't life threatening. He should have told his friend that he took the drug as far as he could take it but he never got it to work so he sold it off to an entity he cannot speak about. That would explain everything he doesn't know and get his friend off his tale. And even might gain him some sympathy from everyone 😂. Maybe this is proof I'm a narcissist or egocentric 😂. I shouldn't be able to come up with a perfect alibi for Multiverse weirdness. 😅😮

Grateful podcast I'm really liking this show a lot. The Ryan drop off in a different universe was very predictable but still a fun show. How was Jasons wife with blond hair not even aware of who he was? I thought all universe split off of a timeline Jason has already was a part of. So what universe does Danielle not know Jason? That didn't make since to me. Fun show you think they would just dream up a universe where they can get more ampules
