I have been working in SBI since one year. And I am loving it. Never have i ever felt not going branch. Before joining I too had some negativity because of quora and YT. But after joining I can say that yes this is the job I wanted and i want to continue with. Sometimes i wish to work even on Sundays. Honestly its really amazing work. Totally love it

i totally disagree with you as ex banker ...i left bank job after 8 years and joined state government job and there is nothing in banking wohi baar baar 50000 customers k ckyc karo roj unke mobile number change karo loan ki recovery ke liye customer se bhikh mango whereas state government job me bohot sikhne ko milta hai and most important peace of mind hota hai🙂

Got selected recently as po after years of character building phase and persistent efforts... Was blank for 3 days after seeing my results...took me time to process that I've got it...then i saw a comment where a guy missed the final cutoff by 0.11 marks... This made me so greatful to the core... That guy would love to have all pros and cons of this job and same goes for me.

There is a saying in my native language - "Adhikam aayal amritum visham" - which means "anything in excess is bad, even if it is ambrosia (amrit)". So, if we think that we are going to enjoy our life without much work to do, in the short term we may but in the long term we will be desperate to get some work so that we may remain occupied and don't feel stagnant. This clearly sums up the "workload" issue that Chirag pointed out in the video. Some pressure is desirable but again it shouldn't be in excess.

BRO with due respect I would like to draw your attention towards my words. I have experience of job in an MNC and right now I want some other job which i dont like to disclose but one things I would like to say is that if you dont earn no one gonna stay with you except parents. Everyone will leave like gf and all. Friends will not act like an ideal friend . So according to that I think nothing will be much stressfull than this scenario..This is my point of view .. This year I am selected as clerk in Indian bank from UP after 2 yrs of preparation. Kaafi log same cheez kahe rahe hai pressure bahut hai tum nhi kar paoge lekin mujhe pata hai agar main selection le sakta hu to nibha bhi sakta hu. Hlo everyone I dont have any interest to demotivate you 😮😮 But if you think practically. ,no doubt bank jobs will give you a handsome amount of salary but you will not get any time for your family or friends. ...Really...and if you think in cool mind then you will find that Banking like SBI Or IBPS Job is all india level. So if you think you can compete with all India people for just 3000 post then can't you compete with your state's student for 500 post to find a job which has a very high chances of work life balance with really A handsome salary....Remember one thing how much money you earn but you can't buy time for your family ...❤❤❤❤❤

Why do you reply to them !! Award staff are not liable to answer phone call even on working hours. If regional office want to convey something to you they have to call your BM first. Have you ever read your Union Diary. Leave branch exactly 4:45pm. Nobody can tell you to work beyond 4:45pm not even RM or DGM. Do you ever have any interaction with union members. Wake up brother, know your rights and responsibilities.

This is not an impartial judgement. Bank job is hectic as hell. I left after 7 years of bank job as officer. U do not have a choice to rest. U sacrifice freedom. You will be used to being abused. Paisa paisa karte rahoge , bas jivan chal sakne bhar milta hai

How much Children education allowance(CEA) will be given for bankers( IBPS and SBI)? For Central Govt employees, it is 2250 per child (max for 2 children), also it is given for RBI, SEBI, NABARD employees(higher amt). Kindly reply

I think banking jobs should have uniform working hours, if that is not possible, then 8 hours shifting duties. They can also increase workforce to reduce working hours. P.S:- I am also working as a PO in RRB

I am a banker and totally disagree with your view points. Bank jobs are bad not because Bank employee has to work 12hrs a day. In today's era , everyone fears for customer complaints, compliances and business pressure. The job opportunity in private sector which you are talking about is completely nonsense. Please talk to your colleague first and ask how many investigations they face in their career. If u come out without any letter or investigations till your retirement you will be Lucky. All the jobs which are outside the public sector demands specialisation in a particular area and treasury , investment banking is all lie. There are hardly few vacancies related to investment banking in public sector banks and that too in SBI only. Don't spread wrong information that our work justifies our salary and there will be career switch opportunity. There is no education loan for us. There is no sabbatical leave who wants to study further.

@mamta669: there is clause for everything. Please talk about ground realities. There are many provisions but on ground realities they don't apply. Your sabbatical leave will never approve even if u got admission in IIMs or any reputed college. You can ask anyone who has applied for sabbatical leave. I am doing the job because not everyone born with a silver spoon and to feed your family you need to do the job. Once you have a family, you have to take care of your parents,wife,and children. I may sound negative but ground realities are harsh. I want him to make the video on the management pressure about the unrealistic target which we need to achieve. The job will be better if unrealistic target pressure will be reduced. It will help both customers as well as employees.

You can apply for all PO/Clerk posts in banks and AO posts in insurance(atleast from generalist stream)..Also,You can apply for regulatory bodies such as SEBI, RBI and NABARD

Everything I will tolerate. But I want to know sir do we have to work all day on computer screen as sbi ja. My eyes get some issue with long screen time. Doctor also told me to avoid screen time as much as possible Don't know what to do

Sir currently working as junior associate in SBI this year got pnb po Quora or yt pe logo ne is job ko itna bura bana diya h ke dar lag raha tha ke po join karu ya na karu But ab clear ho gaya. meri bhi thinking aap jesi hi h ke paisa h, Learning h, growth h or kya hi chaiye ek job se. Abhi pata hi nahi chalta kab kaam karte karte 6 baj jate h ab dekhne pe to ye lag raha h ke kitna kaam h 6 baje branch se nikal raha hu but aap ye bhi to dekho ki vo 8 ghante kab nikle pata hi nahi chala kya yehi vo chez nahi h jisko so-called 'follow your passion wale log' kahte rahte h ke kaam vo karo jisme time ka pata hi na chale Lakh buraiya kare log par banking job is the best govt job. Learning attitude rakhenge to kabhi is job ki burai ni karoge. So finally decided aa raha hu pnb me sir😂
