Story time... My first time in the Dark room. I had transformed into the Leviathan, I had poison, acidic piercing tears, two fly blockers and I was feeling good with ten extra lives and a complete set of black hearts...then I entered the Dark room. I fought two mega fatties and died, now I had only one red heart and my confidence was shattered. I continued to fight my way through them, then past two deaths who took a LOT of my extra lives, until I was down to two of them. I continued through the rest of the floor being pushovers. And then...I saw the Lamb. Now I was terrified because this was the first time I fought him. Eventually, he took me down to one final extra life. And this wasn't just one random extra life, it was Guppy's extra life, meaning there was a fifty percent chance it wouldn't work. I got to him one final time, one red heart, one half chance for an extra life, and one final chance. And then... I became the Golden god.

Well it's a tie. The Chest has the better floor music but The Lamb is such an atmospheric fight. Also if I want to play it safe, Chest is the answer.

I think everyone goes to the chest because of the guaranteed chance for items in the chests which can be crazy fun. Red chests in Dark room have a small chance for items which are pretty useless anyway at that level also the chests can troll you too.

I go to chest if I feel my run isn't very good or if I have a way to break the game there I go to dark room if I feel my run is amazing and I want to victory lap it also victory lapping is a way to get forgotten, please correct my if I'm wrong

I know this from experience I was blowing through everything while secrets weren't locked and I forgot to go back and throw a bomb for the shovel handle. Now every time since then I haven't been able to make it to the dark room

both of them can be the living sheol if you dont have a broken run. You really have to get gud at those, unlike at Isaac/???, where even with normal runs victory is more than possible. And then there's Delirium....
