Did this flub air?
@kpmac12 жыл бұрын
@@MormonMustang_ Yes. If we have video of it, it aired. But no one really cared because the idea that anyone would ever see it again after it aired didn't really occur to anyone. Home video? didn't exist. Plus back then, the tape was so expensive that they always got written over but for some reason all the Dark Shadows tapes ended up on a shelf somewhere and discovered years later which is why we can watch it today. Not sure if that was intentional or just a great accident.

@@kpmac1 What a phenomenal show and Cast. Just seeing how they pushed through these flubs shows how amazing they were at their craft.
@kpmac12 жыл бұрын
@@MormonMustang_ yeah, they had very little rehearsal time so they just had to go with it no matter what happened. Basically, if it got filmed, it ended up on TV's. They had no budget for edits so there are a lot of these fun blooper videos.

what's up with the baby blue candles everywhere? That's my real question.
@percysowner9 жыл бұрын
+pJletsplays I know that one! When they were shooting in black and white they blue looked more like white than white did. So everything like candles and lab coats that were supposed to be white were actually a light blue. Then they went to color and had lots of blue candles left. Money was tight, so they just kept using them.

Lol..
@emilsuda41014 жыл бұрын
percysowner: When the 1795 Flashback was aired, the show was already being broadcast in full color. The reason for the Baby Blue candles was to show color in the set--it had nothing to do with money being tight, even as the show did have budget concerns, those sets used did come across well for daytime television.
@timmclaughlin2323 жыл бұрын
I always loved the vibrant colors of the sets
