This is probably one of my favorite modern Rewind Rumble episode, and it's about a matchup I don't like. The animation is really good, and I like the references to other Sonic fights, like McQueen vs Movie Sonic and Xeno Goku vs Archie Sonic (I think it's referencing that fight). Which kinda makes me wonder is this is just composite Sonic if these fights are connected somehow. Either way nice episode 👍

Honestly, battles involving Sonic.exe are massive mismatches. For one, X is mainly useful in his home dimension and not outside his own. It's literally stated in the ending of the original creepypasta that X becomes "a Sonic plushie, smiling with bloodstains under its eyes" once he exits his disc. This makes battles in the outside world impossible and total mismatches. And two, he is way too overhyped for a character who only tortures and manipulates human souls. Especially since the Tails, Eggman and Knuckles he does kill are merely puppets controlled by the souls controlling them. Combine that with EXE's weak durability, not too useful regenerative powers, opponents being mild humans and needing a cult to spread his awareness and torturing of souls (X-cult) then you get an overrated sonic OC that legit can't do anything outside his disc. EDIT: to add even more salt to the wound, there's literally no mention of EXE utilising a super form in the creepypasta and sequel story. Call me out all you want, but a super form was never implied in any way. The closest thing is his "Dark matter" form but thats it. Even in his own dimension (Which, is merely a singular universe), he get's stomped by more powerful universal to multiversal characters (Both in and out)
