I'm glad you still remember them even after almost a decade, that's just insane to think about. But doing what's in this video isn't really that hard, I just used Sony Vegas after all, basically used the magic bullet plugin for the aggressive color grading in most scenes, also for post production effects like bloom and lens flares, and used pan/crop to zoom and pan the camera, the rest is just details really like keyframing brightness to the beat on the parry scenes, the black and white with only one color is really easy too, look up "Sin City effect tutorial *your software here*", I took a huge leap editing wise after this video ( my newest one serves as an example ) and I hope you'll enjoy my upcoming dark souls 3 stuff

Shadowanroid I did use pan crop for every second of it. Sometimes I wan't to sync certain parameters and the only way to do that is manually, it's not really a boring process since the song is usually the same beat for a period of time so you only have to do a cycle manually once, then copy-paste the pan crop keyframes. I don't know if you use it, but on After Effects however you can simply type a simple expression: Scale: w = wiggle(X,Y); [w[0],w[0]] Position: wiggle(X,Y) ( X is how many times per second do you want it aka speed, Y is how many pixels from the center do you want it to shake or % you want to zoom aka ammount ). And with that it automatically does it for you. There are also plugins that make your screen shake with randomness like Videocopilot's Twitch or S_Shake.

From reading other comments, you’ve heard this story a million times but man watching these videos is so nostalgic. I watched these vids when I was maybe like 11 or 12 and now I’m 19. These are so timeless and are apart of why I look back so positively on dark souls 2. The pvp interactions in that game were just some of the funniest things ever, I would play this game nonstop and mess around with a lot of the stupid overpowered toxic builds in your videos. Also, you respond to almost every comment I see on a lot of your videos which I think is awesome especially after so many years. Even though you don’t post, it still feels like a little community where we all await the day you may post again, whether it’s gaming or your awesome amvs. Thank you for being apart of some of my core memories with video games.

I seem to always come back to your dks 2 videos every year. Brings back so many fond memories of both the game and how simple life use to be. The second I start watching them, I remember ruining iron keep fight clubs, hosting my own, using meme weapons, fooling around as an invader. I then remember how badly I wanted to make dumb meme videos at the time but not having a way to record my gameplay, doing fun challenge runs for people to watch at a local game store I went to. Now I'm older, my local game store closed down, I'm figuring out what I'm doing for the rest of my life, closest friend has a kid, getting distant from parents as I grow independent, getting less time and less urges to play games, and my passion for creativity is getting blocked by responsibilities. This turned into a ramble about me hating getting old. Anyways, always loved your stuff, back then as someone who found them funny, to using them as a journey to nostalgia. I also see you still replying to some comments and glad to see you're still around, and I hope all is well with you during these times.

@@MrNosec I honestly was not expecting a reply! But yeah, I understand free time doesn't come out of thin air, and those people who only comment "when's the next video" only add pressure. I literally got done watching a video by ChaseFace, a guy who originally planned a full series for the Sonic franchise, and the video was him explaining why he cancelled it. It went somewhere along the lines of "I don't want to dedicate my channel to one thing when I have other things to do," and although it's not the exact same as your situation, it gets the point across. Bless your soul if you manage to read this entire thing. For a bit of a more personal example, and a reason why I can relate to you, I had a ROBLOX user by the name turbo236, and I made a short-lived RPG series called Forsaken Sword Legacies, the third game of which got 2 million plays, and all 3 games had around 85% ratings, which I was proud of. Then people began pressuring me into making a 4th game. I made the other 3 in about 5 months each, but I started the 4th in mid 2017 and quit working on a few months ago because the way programming changes all the time on ROBLOX meant my previous games completely *stopped working as intended* and I feared the same would happen to this one. That, and I just did not have the time or passion to work on it anymore. I wanted it to stop at 3 anyway. After a while of doing something, you just need something to spice it up, but ROBLOX is so monotonous that I'd rather attempt completely new game making software like GameMaker. That, and I did not have a big team of people with me; I was all by myself and I had to grab music and other assets from other sources, so much so that it didn't even feel unique. I know I let alot of people down (I doubt many even know I stopped working because I haven't spoken to them since), but as James Rolfe put it in his Mega Man AVGN episode, you can't keep beating the same thing to death because you eventually run out of the time/energy/passion to do so. Your DS2 videos were great, and I'm sorta biased because 2 is my favorite because of its PvP. But you do you, I don't pressure anyone into doing the things they can't do. So here's to hoping all goes well for you!

I understand the feeling of crushing audience demand, it might not be MANY people, but nonetheless I got asked for more DS2 vids but I already did all I wanted to do in that game, I wouldn't be making them for myself anymore I'd be forcing out stuff because others liked the previous ones and want me to keep it up, and since personal satisfaction from making what I want and sharing it with others is the only thing I get from this, I don't want to ruin that by pleasing others. I think of my channel like a personal library, but made public, because if I couldn't share my ideas and read the comments and interact with other people I sure wouldn't spend months or years in a single project solely for myself. And I did read it all, I appreciate the long comment and although I was never in that exact situation, the feeling of not feeling as passionate as you once were about the things you love did cross my mind once or twice, all things have an end and I most likely won't have worthwhile ideas for ages to come or time to make them come to life, but in the meanwhile I do have 1 video I want to finish, which I started in 17/06/2016, and another one I really want to make, which has been on my mind since june 2017, if I manage to complete both of those I'll be one happy fella. Thanks for the kind words as well, DS2 was a very special game for me because I started making silly videos for my friends at school while having fun with the game and people I didn't know suddenly started watching them, and encouraged me to get better at making said videos and become more ambitious in order to feel like I deserve the attention I was getting. Hope you enjoy my upcoming video, it will surely be different compared to these because I don't think or edit the way I did back in 2014-2015, but hopefully they still feel like "me" in some way or form.
