Ive defeated every boss using just a fist weapon. Bought it off the merchant at the cardinals tower for 1000 souls. starts off at only 45 base dmg but for some reason it does crazy damage to bosses and any heavy armored opponent. Thanks for the video, watched this first and then tore them apart as you said.

You can also do it the other way arround. I did this fight untouched with the Drangleic shield and the Greatsword. (The black, simple Ultra greatsword) plus the clothing that Straid gives you if you speak to him.

A good tactic would also be to get all the attention from the two sentinals at the bottom after defeating the first one, just stay close to them while dodging back, and allow Bellclaire to use her magic and destroy them

i did this without any trouble actually. i used; weapon(s): fire longsword +6 and silver eagle kite shield+4. armor: varangian helm, falconer armor, brigand gauntlets and brigand trousers. with the same equipment i killed the dragonrider right after these bosses

+david goversmith falcons does bleed damage so it only does full and a little bit of extra damage once the enemy is bleeding which is actually pretty hard and painful to do.

just summon bellclaire and buy like 70 lifegems. i used a really heavy gear for this fight but not enough for fatrolling and i use the heide knight sword +2 and used it 2 handed. i always make sure that bellclaire is going to aggro the other one after the first one died while i aggro the third one so it's 1v1 for both of us. bell is really tanky so it would be really easy.

Aiming specifically for one at a time is good in theory but totally unrealistic when actually facing both at the same time. i wasnt able to beat them UNTIL I STOPPED going for one at a time. On the ground its much easier to take any opportunity (there are so few as it is) to hurt either than to try and focus on just one. this girl was only able to do it because of some luck, and the fact her character has stupid high damage/stamina compared to how early most people are coming up against these guys. Good advice overall, but that one tip is terrible.

Oh god.... I can't even beat the Yahim, and I'm level 71. First play through. Stupid NPC summon (BellClaire, was it?) is always so late when entering the room, and usually whenever she enters, Yahim will do a sweeping attack and then that's it.. I'm dead.

Late to the party, but I'm currently playing SotFS on PS4. Two questions: 1) where did you get all those nice estus flask boosters? 2) Do you remember what kind of damage output you were doing before you were ready for this fight?

Theres a bunch spread out, i only remember one. Its in the pirate looking area, something wharf. The last stone building to the right has a couple of guards sleeping inside, and there should be a fake wall inside there where youll find a crystal lizard and a shard and other stuff. If this is not the right building, try to listen to the crystal lizard, and then hit walls. I got the same +5 at this point. Just beaten these guys after some 15 tries. Use a strike weapon for much more dmg, not as much as she is doing but.. i did it with standard mace no upgrades. I used that thing that puts magic dmg on your weapon, looks like gold pine resin but blue. They are weak to magic too so strike+magic on the weapon is great. I just made sure i got enough practice on them before trying to use items and stuff. Good luck skeleton. Edit: i think theres a shard inside the masion in manjula too if im not mistaken.

Thanks for the info! I ended up using an NPC ally for this battle, made things a whole lot easier. Maybe when I don't suck I will try to solo each boss in the game. Side note: I ended up dual wielding and powerstancing +5 rapiers before I revisited this battle. I was using two short swords prior to this, but they did not deal anywhere near the counter damage of the rapiers.

what if i dont have enough stats for the rapier? i can parry with it, but the only weapons i can use one handed is the dagger and the small axe, the axe is broken tho and i dont have souls to repair it (i can get souls by killing smaller enemies but most od the time as soon as i get enough souls im getting overwhelmed by like 5 hollows right behind me), and the dagger does only 17 damage to them (i assume i cant reposte them?)

powerstancing is pretty cool as you do the damage of both weapons with one attack. I tried doing it with rapiers but the damage output was pretty abysmal compared to me using a falchion+4, but I think if I upgraded them it could get better. High stats are also good which I think she has in this video, as her healthbar and stamina were pretty big

Yes, this boss fight basically requires a no hit run if fought at early game because you lose 80% of your health from one hit and it's impossible to heal during the 2v1 phase.

Dark souls 2 rolling is bullshit. I did a dark souls 1 sl1 Ng7 run easy. This game is so clunky and movement is delayed. I could legit roll through any hit in DS1 but this game just butt fucks me on rolls. All you had to do, was follow the same formula, CJ. Good vid tho
