There are many impressive elements of this fight. The least of these that you got to ng+7 as SL1. Wild. Im proud of my recent ER Playthrough with no summons, farming, or consumable buffs but im def leveling up.

Tysm, look, to start with I didnt cycle climb on sl1, I am on pc so I just used cheat engine to put myself on journey 8 directly, u will tell me why and cheater and so, u need to understand that my goal is to defeat every boss at these restrictions without sequence breaking (as in using an item not acquirable except after killing the boss), what is outside boss fight doesnt matter, so I use CE for quality of life stuff, like giving myself the items, no one cares if like I picked it up myself or gave it to myself through cheat engine, also teleporting between bosses, because this is a boss only run, any pc challenge runner does this it is accepted, console players dont have the ability to do so, so they needto cycle climb at least once, and they need to do stuff legit all they have is savestates, and lots of incredible players are on console, including the developer of these strats I mentioned him in the description, on the note of the rl1 thing, I never played er but from the other challenge runners that play er, RL1 is pretty easy run due to how much damage u can deal, so u can definitely do it and easily, if u want to start challenge running I would suggest sl1 no roll ds1 is an easy and fun introduction, u can join champion's respite discord so we can help u or like give it a look even if u r not gonna do it but there is incredible stuff there my kills look like child's play compared to what other dudes have there, also they can show u the damage u do in rl1 with optimal gear because again I never played er so I dont know any references to link (sorry for the essay)

are they not used that much? They are relatively easy, my p2 is horrendous, I still die to that uppercut with long trail when I am in front of him, I never tried to get hyper armour hits in p2 (I only backstabbed spin like in 2 attempts so understandable), and I couldnt recognize combos well, there is still there is massive room for improvement

@@DarkN1ght2440s the strats are just very new, afaik you have the only kill so far unless you include pancake and I who both did half a ng7 fist only kill before dying

pancake has lots of kills with it check his channel, a couple of speedkills@@zhortey
