This is genius. Plus once you give up on trying to kill the host you take less damage which lets you hang around longer. Also the host eventually has so little estus that they won’t dare tackle the boss. I’m surprised these didn’t all turn into DCs.

Hey Saint I've been using a poise/dex build at SL60 with an astora greatsword which has been very fun and I found that in a lot of situations the r1-r1-r2 is a true combo. I thought that was pretty odd but it does ridiculous damage. I one shot a lot of phantoms with that combo. Would love to see you check it out and see what you think

Josh Holst yeah you're getting ultra stun. I made a video about it. Horizontal swinging ultras can do that if a player had qued inputs or presses any button other than roll when they've been hit with an ultra.

I just took my first “hostage!” I invaded in the painted world on the other side of the chapel bridge. Host destroyed it, and ended up hiding in the chapel hoping I would leave. I shot a few millwood arrows from the other side to let him know that I wasn’t leaving. He couldn’t use the bonfire and if he took the ladder down, I could just shoot millwood arrows at him. 7-10 mins later, he just kills himself. :)

love when u said that instead of getting angry cuz hosts will run and roll forever and summon phantoms u instead turn the tables and find a way to enjoy the invasion anyway.. just the fact u look at it like ur holding the host hostage gives u a confidence which results in an advantage for u.. sooo many players find things they dont like about ds3 and just complain complain complain like a bunch of old ladies!! like using healing spells for example.. if u detect someone has any type of faith build stay on their ass cuz they might try to heal.. or if they use weapons u hate find a way around them.. this mentality goes for anything..if u spent more energy finding solutions and making adjustmemts instead of complaining about things we would be much more successful in our duels or invasions..great vid saint as usual..

Saint! I really need your opinion on this one. Why SL125 over 120 for invasions? I see all your meta characters have SL125. Is this a matter of pure meta, or is there some deeper philosophy behind it?

I didn't want to invade the SL100 people. Now most of my meta level invaders are 133 so the lowest they can invade is 120.

i dont know about but I'm kinda want to share my thoughts fornthe next new game coming out. I could record myself talking but i don't have the right tools to record and edit my videos. so people expected quality in videos which makes me go down. here's what I got so far Darksouls: all about the curse bloodborne: all about the disease within the blood shadows die twice: possibly all about pain, using pain as way to become close to the gods in th game, or maybe a horror action game with a story safe to assume. because I I've been seeing a pattern within miazaki's games and his way if thinking so he could possibly be making games based around on humanity with powers and curses to world's light and dark, and our faith godly like figures in our image. more speculation will be thought through.

I don't even think hosts like this realize that rolling around with them is BM. I don't think they know rollcatches exist and you're choosing not to do them, in my experience if they get rollcaught they just think it was lag. They don't understand that rolls have any vulnerable frames.

Also, here's a way to fix Summoning Blues, 1. make it to when you equip the Way of blue, you have to have alot of souls in order to summon (Just look at this as auto-summoning for a fee, and 2. (AND THIS IS IMPORTANT), make it where players cannot drop souls in popable form to other players. No souls, no blues, git gud, plus, you gotta make it sort of expensive to deter players from using it to gank, and for the blue phantoms, they don't recieve payment until they kill the intended target (Reds and mad phantoms, if they die before they kill the target, it just wastes the hosts souls, so it's a gamble. >:D )
