I remember killing Yhorm with the storm ruler and thinking about how cinematic and awesome it looked. Then I thought back to the two giants in the courtyard of that area after Pontiff's that I'd put off fighting and thought "Hey, I wonder if this works with all giants." So, with my brothers watching, I ran out to that area, started up the animation and prepared to smite those giants with the power of the storm ruler, only to be rewarded with that little fart of an attack and 47 damage to show for it. I proceeded to draw Gundyr's Halberd and promptly won with little to no trouble. Wasn't sure if I felt more embarrassed or amused.

Only, most people cannot 2 shot in DS2 and people actually had to TIME their rolls and attacks unlike in DS3. There was no R1 spam and those that did do it were promptly punished.

SIR SUN MAN, I am sorry that you do not know how to play or parry or block or attack but anyone with skill could beat katanas or straightswords in DS2. Hell, I would use the Darkdrift or Blacksteel LONG before I use something like the chaos blade. Also, Ice Rapiers? Oh please, anyone with a brain could poise through the one-handed ice rapier or parry something as predictable as rapier pokes! If you want to use a magic weapon, just use the Blue Flame or Sorcerer's Twinblade! If you want to use physical weapons, just use physical weapons! If those two weapons are your complaints then you might as well call out the multiple healing options in DS2 despite all of them combined being more balanced than DS3 estus! Either way, I would take THAT over tumble-buffing stunlockers and healing resummoned phantoms ANYDAY! ( Yes it is patched now, AFTER A YEAR BTW, but the ganks are still more than ample to throw DS3's PVP into the trashbin. You might as well be playing a pendant. )

Mainly because his connection is really good. I used to main crow quills myself and the latency really hindered how I could use it effectively. I would attack someone that was about to attack and by the time my attack would damage my opponent and stun them, their attack would land and stun me too. So what should've been a counter hit and potentially a combo turned into a trade due to latency. If FromSoft fixed their terrible servers, maybe we could enjoy the dex weapons more

The real tryhards are the ones that has havel's armor, demon scar (in the offhand), carthus curved sword (buffed with carthus rouge), exile greatsword or mukaramo (buffed with darkmoon blade), dark sword (buffed with darkmoon blade) and any chime/talisman. The rings are the witche's ring, sage's ring, havel's ring and the FaP ring. The spells are forbid... I mean chaos bed vestiges, black flame and tears of denial
