I wonder if that's Havel himself, though. First: most NPCs drop their armour set when they're killed, which is how you obtain sets like Solaire's, but this guy... just drops a ring, not the armour. Second: the ring's description talks more about Havel's men than Havel himself, and implies that only Havel's men wore the ring, not Havel himself. Third: if this is Havel, why doesn't he use his miracles? He's a bishop, after all, and we know he developed the Magic Barrier spells to counter his mortal enemy Seath... and yet, this guy doesn't use them. My conclusion is that this isn't Havel at all, but rather just one of his men, perhaps one of Havel's higher-ranking undead knights. It's possible he started hollowing, and so the bishop had him quietly locked in the tower to keep him from bringing the knights a bad name, without having to execute, assassinate, or abandon him.

I never really count this, you can see that she has the 'Commoner' face as well, so I reckon as she was the only one of the Four Knights to use a player model, so they just used the default face; From just went 'cba' (Actually it's more likely due to time constraints, they planned the DLC to be in the original game, so maybe they just wanted to get it done).

I find it great they actually designed those faces for charakters we were not meant to see without their helmets/masks anyway. Some others you can also glimpse at by using binoculars near them and staring into their helm holes. on the other hand its irritating, seeing their actual faces, I think of oscar everytime I see that elite knight armor and when I wear that thorn bro outfit, the face beneath doesnt matter anymore, then I am Kirk, the murderous scumbag, who hid his gentle heart, wheeping for the fair lady beneath a plate of iron and a hundred thorns.

There's a chance that the developers designed the characters for both the fun of it and also that it makes the characters easily identifiable to easily identify. Team probably had access to the fun and simple character editing tools we get and decided use up the spare time to mess about.

The broken window is the way they (and you) got in. They actually opened it for you. And the only way to get down to the painting is to cross the rafters. I believe he fell before he got to the chandelier, because I think he would use it to kill some of the guards down. Well, chandelier is still up there, and Tarkus is down in the corner. I was even thinking that he fell on purpose to make enough fuss for Oscar to slip to the painting. That would be the reason why Oscar didn't drop chanedier.

I'm gonna guess that Tarkus got knocked off the rafters. Oscar was trying to fulfill the fate of the undead, and travelled to the undead asylum so he could escape to fulfill the prophecy, but he he got knocked through the ceiling by the asylum demon and died there
