Dark Souls Series Model Comparison - Elite Knight

A showcase of the models and textures used for the Elite Knight in the complete Dark Souls series to perceive the differences. This video has no commercial use and does not receive any kind of profit.
The models and textures of a game are the same for all platforms (PS, PC, XB, SW). In the case of DSI, there are three versions of each model for low, medium and high quality. From DSII and forth, they only have models for medium and high quality. The differences in the models are, basically, les triangles for different qualities. The same happens with textures, but the change is in terms of image size. In this video, I only used the high quality models of the four games.
I used models and textures from DSII-SotFS, I didn’t try the vanilla version.
This video was created because I had the theory that DSIII uses different models than the rest, but it turns out that they are the same, at least for the armor models. The most evident difference between games versions are the textures and the shaders. I do not have access to the original shaders.

I noticed in DS3 the bottom waist cloth is not properly attached to the belt, causing gap were you can see through the model.

Dark souls 2 looks the most appealing. The rest are ugly, muddy and dull. Textures look horrible on all of them though.

Agreed. The scarf-like tissue looks ok in DS2 while it looks terrible in DSR (2:10) and in DS3 (1:42) it looks like plastic.

@@axelbrionac4614 It doesn't look like "plastic" in the game itself in the case for DS3 due to lighting and other graphical things. That's just what happens when you take it out of the game and put the model/textures under this model viewer.

DS3 version, hands down. the details are better and the sounds of the chainmail of the armor when you move is ear porn.
