Dark Souls 2 will forever hold a special place in my heart for getting me into the souls series. I honestly think it has one of the best atmospheres and once you understand you have to level adp it’s a great game

Same here, it was my first Souls game and is probably my favorite. Only one I've 100% achievement-wise. I love them all but 2 just has something that hooks me the most. My absolute favorite thing to do is to powerstance dual manslayers. Poison WRECKS and it's so much fun to build it up on enemies and watch their health constantly drain even when you're not dealing blows to them.

I appreciate it, but that's as far as I'd go. Maybe it's because DS2 was the last of the souls games I tried but damn is it infuriating. Who knows, maybe I would've enjoyed it more if I didn't go in blind and looked up some tips beforehand, but always nice to see people finding joy in things I don't.
