I don't understand why using spears is widely frowned upon but using Wrath of the Gods (which does a lot of damage, hits through shields, drains a lot of stamina, does a lot of poise damage, and has a very quick casting time) isn't and is often combined with intentionally dead angling.

Im very disappointed that you can't get the silver knight weapobs in DS3 any more. I love how this has a varied moveset from other spears, variety is the spice of life as they say. At least the partizan still has its sweeps making if my go to spear bht I'd still love to use this one.

Aside from looking so sleek and elegant, it's just my favorite spear in the damn game. Also, I think you forgot that the weapon has a Holy modifier, so it's useful for beginners to farm for this weapon once they get to Anor Londo so that they can have a good weapon to use for the Catacombs. That way, you don't have to ascend a weapon to Divine in order to kill off skellies. Yes, you can downgrade the Occult Club you find in the basement room into a Divine Club +5, but I personally don't like the moveset. Plus, the Club looks ugly.

PvE perspective: Hands down the best spear in the game, versatility wise. Great moveset It's also the only weapon in the entire game to have a divine modifier with pure physical damage. It's one of the longest spears, only outdone by the Demon Spear, Moonlight Butterfly Horn, and the Pike.

having a divine modifier doesnt mean that it scales with faith, and this weapon does not scale with faith so it wont matter for the damage output

I'm a big fan of the Silver Knight Spear in PVE. When you're not quite sure what you are doing, it's nice to be able to bait attacks from monsters and poke them from just outside their reach.

well, it can't be buffed... also when looking in the weapon status screen is has a 110 'holy' modifier, meaning it can be used to kill skeletons while their necromancer is still alive in the catacombs.

I like to keep this one handy for a menu swap when I'm using Leo Halberd and they roll-bs a lot, or something, flippers can be particularly tricky, if they flip too much you can sometimes catch them but a spear is just much more forgiving

I'm using thi for when I get invaded, dragonslayer spear is going to be my main though, and I will use it in areas where enemies are lightning resistant or undead

another pro is it's got a divine blessing naturally on it, which helps a lot with catacombs.

another con could be the 22 Dex required to use it, second highest dex requirement for any weapon (dragonslayer spear is 24 and i guess the gold tracer is 25) so if you're not willing to invest that many points into dex, it becomes useless.

Hmm i was thinking about using this weapon for my one build and i certainly like the silver knight str sword so i might try this one out sometime instead of using the Dragon Slayer spear. Thx for the up load.

also, doesnt the silver knight spear deal split damage? i know it does divine damage, and can kill the skeletons in the catacombs… is that damage accounted for as magic?

having a high dex requirement on a dex weapon really isnt that big of a con, so i didnt think i needed to include it lol. also no, it is pure physical damage
