Let me help you improve Dark Souls LIke Mode A) reduce brightness by 30% B) Add 2 or 3 status effects at the same time on you when in those poison swamps. C)Remove all the dialogue in the game and add it to item descriptions D) Put a couple of moon/sun eclipses that turn red or orange at different times of the game. E) Have everyone refer to you as the shell-less one.
