I want her loss to be due to her using Green/Alex's Ink, and finding out the HARD way that it should NOT mix with the Black Ink... Just an added layer of Irony... That she sought such power to be the most powerful inkling ever... ...Only to learn that mixing it with the Black Ink causes her Body to rapidly break down, or for her to start changing into an abomination, basically making her _NOT_ an Inkling... I mean, Green was heavily implied to be Alex Spider who basically had himself be turned into an Inkling, then seperate himself from his Human self to become his own being. This was why he tried to keep his Ink away from Dark Squid, so that she would never acquire the power he had as a Human (Alex Spider was apparently some kind of Mercenary Super Soldier with a hefty bounty on his head). ...But what if there was a bigger reason? What if the reason he kept protecting his Ink, was because while it can give Normal Inklings a power boost, the power boost it gives to those tainted with Dark Ink's Ink, would instead cause the body to spiral out of control, effectively destroying itself?
