I feel like this skin is good for a cosmic skin and I do like it, however I think if Riot would have given her a skin in any better skinline I would have loved it more

Same. Imagine a Coven Zoe skin. A star/cosmic skin is already too close to her base identity. I would still rather played Star Guardian than this.

As a Zoe One Trick I was so disappointed with this. I genuinely think Riot cheap out with this skinline, it has like almost no artistic expression, just like Infernal skins, it's just a cop out and takes no thought process.

I agree and disagree... Yes, she already has star guardian skin and the vanilla skin is perfectly in comic theme so it is difficult to make a new comic theme skin without something looking like star guardian or even the vanilla skin (I call 'vanilla skin' the original skin/base skin = Zoe without any skin on). BUT Riot games made a video recently to say that they will no longer try to make skin to champions that are not really needing the skin, so they will no longer make skin to make skin and gain money. They will try to make skins in harmony with champions and the lore behind them. In this serie of skins, they are representing space, black holes, universe, planets and everything around these, so Zoe : aspect of the twilight, Targon, moon/sun, representing destruction/cataclysms but also fun and ignorance. In fact she fits into this theme, so not making a skin about this is quite absurd. They tried to make this skin different from others she already has but it was almost impossible. We were all waiting for Darkin Zoe style (which fits even more and look less like other skins) - Legends Of Runeterra Zoe skin - or even Mythweaver Zoe (but they're probably waiting a little to make a whole serie about it again with some wother champions) - Wild Rift / TeamFight Tactics Zoe skin - so yes it is quite a disappointment from the community and we were'nt expecting such a thing, but a Zoe skin is still fine and we're happy about it overall.

I love how your main compliment of this skin was “it’s super close to the original skin, so it’s basically good by association” LOLL. Honestly I feel the same way though, it’s like they made a lower effort Star Guardian and said “here take it, you like the base skin right?” It’s why I don’t like it, even the splash art face looks like SG fiddle.

the skin is "just fine", but 2 years for a "just fine" pisses off people. She isnt lux, she cant just casually have a flop and wait 8 months to get another try. This one feels like one of those purposeless and directionless fire skins. Not sure if directionless is a word though. It fells like they were developing the other skins from the patch and said "oh yeah, let me check the "unpopular champions that we are forced to release an skin every few years" list to see who is next... oh yeah its Zoe...meh, pick some leftovers from the production of the current skins and put together something decent. With that, zoe players wont whine for the next 2 years" That being said, she already has many FANTASTIC skins so personally it doesnt infuriates me...that much.

zoe as a champ has starry vibe so giving her another star theme skin was a bad idea not that the skin is bad its just been done with base and the evil ver with SG, but if they made the hair colors more warm will help it feel more different than base also its still pbe so small changes will be done don’t be sad zoe mains.

I like the skin, it is a very good skin, I understand a lot of people want zoe to be like seraphine that is basically barbie, but cmon, the skin is unique to her catalogue and I think she gonna another skin sooner than 2 years

I NOTICED, so currently I'm avoiding playing ranked games, because I'm OTP Zoe, and YES THIS IS UNPLAYABLE. I sent a report to Riot games support services, I hope it'll be fixed soon. I played Aram and noticed this bug with no other champions, and this bug happens also when she grabs a flash on the floor. I'm happy I'm not alone. I noticed too that this bug doesn't occur when you do not try to move your champion at the same time you flash : if you're not moving at all, point your cusor somewhere and press flash, it flash as intended, if you're spamming right click and flash it will bug... and yes sometimes it doesn't work at all and Zoe flash on herself !!! flash is now visually a dash (instead of a blink) - sorry for my English, I'm french.

I would really have prefered to see zoe in different kind of theming than this sort of inbetween of her base skin and star guardian. Fright night, a sugar rush skin maybe ? The skin itself isn't bad and i actually enjoy theses muted deep space sound effects a lot but i am feeling a tad let down by the theming on a character like zoe that wont get another skin before the next 2 years

Also, idk if you have noticed this, but besides her base, pool party and cyberpop skin, no other skin makes use of her paddle racket. Arcanist changed it into a wand but the texture is bugged and it doesnt really show

I just feel like she looks weird and they keep trying to go down the dark route with Zoe(SG and This one)......but I feel like it would be so much better if it were a Legendary dark skin? or if we just stop trying to make her dark if that makes sense. Will still be getting the border though because....duh. My heart lies with Winterblessed and Cyberpop

I loved this skin so much for some reason, it just fits her and honestly is the best "Dark Star" of this batch, since everyone else is just Yassified monsters from the cosmos.
