He's very right that there's an awakening in the world. 10 yrs ago when I lived in India, we were ashamed of our heritage, I refused to do yoga, I wanted to convert, I didn't want to listen to my parents' endless nonesense about puja and swamis. Today I'm consuming this content like water right as I enter age 30, and I don't even live in India. Rajarshi ji is an incredible explainer and I see that even the most fundemental way we think is different from the abrahmics. Look at the way he describes how evil behaves in the world: he says it is its duty and nature. He doesn't put human moral judgement on it. Incredible

I have been through the lightening experience mentioned in the 22:00 minute . I used to practice mindfulness meditation and almost reached that point where I was able to observe and control all my voluntary movements (not a small feat to do so throughout the day, it's also very uncomfortable because you feel all the small pain that your body goes throughout the day) I was teaching that day to a student when it happened. I could feel something was moving up my spine and suddenly it felt like my brain became very light like air and I went into a state of pure bliss and started laughing. When I closed my eyes I could see blue lights like small flames. At night I had a dream of a manlike figure who told me I was not physically prepared to handle what was happening to me and it could damage my brain. He then went on to tell me how to reduce the flow of that bluish energy so that I don't get completely mad .What he told me helped me in reducing the flow of energy to a great extent but my cognitive abilities still went into drain even after following what was told. I could hardly concentrate or use my inner monologue, it was a pure silence inside my mind. It took me 3 years to get back to what humans call being normal. I stopped doing meditation and other spiritual stuff during that time . Trust me don't get into spirituality if you don't have a good guru ,else you will lose more than you could gain out of it. Being normal is hands down the most beautiful thing.

This is playing with body and energies. This has nothing to do with spirituality. Spirituality is when you go on a quest to understand what is this birth and death, what are we doing here on earth. This happens only when you are not satisfied with any readymade answers given in scriptures. Set out to figure out things on our own by watching breath, thoughts, sensations in body. This can happen only when ideas about enlightenment, god, kundalini, heaven, hell and all that you have gathered never satisfies you. For reaching that you just have to be rational to the core. Then your body and thoughts will be ready to die to understand life, that time nothing can happen with body. I just see all this tantra, kundalini shakti, chakra meditations to be highly dangerous and serves no point in spirituality. Its just sets a human into materialistic pursuits like Power, longevity of life, staying young forever, trying to be saviour for the masses. Dissatisfaction with both higher truths and lower truths presented to you will kickstart spirituality. Others are just gimmicks in this world.

I love all of Rajashri Nandy episodes. Ambika devi episode on the other hand felt like someone just came out of their delusion and framed their imaginations as stories of horror, It seemed childish. When you said Satan and his servents , Nandy's face expression was like WTH 😄

He's absolutely right about kantara. For a week I felt like I was hearing things or seeing things, I woke up in the middle of the night. Sometimes I even felt like someone tried to wake me up. Maybe this is why our ancestors were told that one should be ready not only physically but also mentally for spirituality. If you are not ready you might start thinking that you have gone insane or even worse not only you Destroy yourself but also it will harm your family (people who are around you). When we are not ready even if we see God our Maya will make us go insane.

Hinduism have always felt more natural as a religion or practice. It does not always try to obscure and hide things taht are inherently bad. I think it has allowed science and reson instead of blind faith. It also has these delightful concepts of superhumanism

But yes I agree with you the depth of our Indian languages and nomenclature is not matched by any other language of the world currently spoken.

I think this guest has done a brave job, to talk about stuff like this on internet in a universal language is BRAVERY to say the least. I don't completely understand these concepts and that's why I don't have 100% faith in it but after watching the last 2 podcasts I have developed a sense of acceptability towards these phenomenon. 31:00 does the posession thing happen in North India? Just curious to know.. here in south many families see maa Durga posessing a person. Mainly on Navratri's. And we have kuladaivam in our family, once in a year we go to our father's village and do lot of puja's and kuladaivam posseses a person and we have conversations with her.. my parents have lot many experiences where all the future she said has come true... Actually many don't believe these days... But I've had many n many experiences with her..
