Great recap! One clarification. The Revolver XL at the end of the video has just as many layers as the other knives. The pattern was a result of how and in which directions Peter compressed the steel in order to form the various patterns. Steels where 52100 and 5160.

No we camped out for two nights. Wednesday and Thursday. The first 9 of us got in line Wednesday and the 10th guy got there at like 3am Thursday morning.

The first 10 people in line got a card from Peter Kohler and having that card meant you was guaranteed to get a custom. So first guy got the first pick and so on. Didn’t have to run to the table and fight over them. Not literally fight of course lol.
