On a fateful night, a girl walks into a masquerade. Everyone is dancing, from the old to the young, the rich to the slightly less rich. But something feels off, the atmosphere. A few minutes later which felt like an eternity, everyone's.... everything seems to be melting, eyes, hair, nails, skin. Everyone is a skeleton now, revealing that they were a part of death all along. The welcome feeling of death suffocates the girl. As the dead carry on dancing, it seems like the only instrument that's playing is the violin. At the end, it seems like the only people in the room is that girl and the violin player, the girl is enchanted by the playing. She carelessly creeps up to the violinist. Violinist pays her no mind. The girl senses a strange feeling of urgency to stop in her tracks. The violinist picks up their head to reveal no pupils and teeth as sharp as thorns. Though they have no pupils, the girl still feels that icy stare. Run. My friend and I went to prom a few months ago. We had both dressed up in very showy and gothic attire for the event. We hated the mosh pit and honestly trashy modern rap music (with far too many swear words). So we snuck away a to a hallway in the school in the middle of the night. We used a speaker and played this song, dancing a proper waltz together. Due to how we were dressed as well as the grace with which we waltzed, it truly did feel like the Vampire Masquerade. Among them stood one apart from the rest. With his royal blue jacket and dark grey trousers, and eyes that shone like a cat on a throne; he was seen in glimpses here and there. Some saw him dancing with a dame while others fell their gaze at the figure watching them from above, on the higher balcony; wherever he was his eyes remained fixed on one. She wore an emerald gown, iridescent with embroidered gems. Her eyes, blue like a stormy ocean, shot arrows of supremacy at any fool who dared to look. She entranced the mystery man who seemed ever so desperate to be acquainted. Through the beating maze of masked phantoms they made their way to each other. Swift and sure their beating hearts led them closer; both challenging the other's every move with their own. They reached a breath away from each other and the woman whispers in to his ear, "Who are you?" The man pulls his lips to her neck and finishes, "Vlad, my dear. But around here they seem to call me Dracula." And so they danced.

The brunette raised her head up to see a handsome man before her, gesturing his hand out for the young maiden. The girls cheeks went crimson as she ushered a hand to him. "May I say, anticipating how long it would take for a man like you to bestow upon me with such, charms." The mysterious figure gently kissed her hand that was displayed before him, looking back up at her with an amused smile. "I am Elijah, Son of King Herald" "Elizabeth" Elijah raised his brow, wondering where this Elizabeth came from, was she royal? a duchess or widow? He never heard of this woman among the palace, but in this haunting night he knew one thing was for certain. He was utterly bewitched by her. She led him out to the centre of the ball room, with their steady eyes amongst one another, They began to waltz. Swaying to the sweet melody being strung by the orchestra, Elizabeth's dress vividly moved with every long stride they took. Elijah captivated by her lonely blue eyes, Elizabeth longing for his deep amber ones. Elijah lifted her up in the air, gripping onto her torso which was strung tightly by a corset. For a brief moment Elizabeth felt like she was flying amongst the wind. In his arms it felt as if.. time never existed. Elizabeth soon forgot about her worries, sorrows wouldn't catch her, damnation was far away and the fiery pit would wait for Elizabeth for eternity. Son cœur a été frappé par cupids arc. The maiden found it difficult to breath as hordes of people surrounded the girl, cursing her name. Torches lit by flames, Sour expressions and evil thoughts caressed the minds of them, but overall the fear of the unknown drowned their thoughts. Elijah gripped her hand dragging her away from the mob soon awaiting her. Dashing from the ball down the castle steps, past the gargoyles and far along the forest. Her dress torn and his attire ruined, the lovers dashed through the rainy night together, Into the night Elijah took Elizabeth. Swearing to protect his one, true love.

We all gathered under the lustrous chandelier high above. The marbled floor, as shiny as ever, and our steps echoed through the hall. This day marks the annual grand ball. Despite the sense of familiarity with the surroundings, this year's event felt somehow different. +Peter Gundry | Composer I really appreciate that you looked to the Van Helsing perspective! Van Helsing I think was a well done film unlike what critics said- especially for the vampire lore. I cannot help but keep dancing around and using your music for my art. I actually was creating a story with two people involving a monster hunter going after a vampire but the monster hunter became ill so the vampire decided to care for the hunter out of pity and so I was drawing from both perspectives (as one wanted me to write for the hunter and another wanted me to write for the vampire for two separate things) and this was perfect! I wish I could show you what I drew because of your music!:) It was a pleasing experience!

The man grunted as he lay in a pool of crimson blood. _I will not suffer because of him anymore. Never again._ As she made her way out of the hallway, her life ended on a silent note when a bullet hit her heart. As she lay on the floor in her golden gown, she knew what the autopsy report would say. _Killed by a gun with a muffler._ Her life end's summarised with a mere seven words. _Just like how the King liked it._ _Short and sweet._

I imagine an Olde Vampyre mingling with the crowd, smiling charmingly to all his guests and making sure that no one is displeased with any aspect of his party. He's had years to perfect being a host after all, and it wouldn't do for the main course to be spoiled by unhappy moods from guest or victim alike. Then someone he doesn't know, someone uninvited appears at his shoulder, asking him to dance. Gasps ring out as not only did someone ask the Master of the Estate to dance, it was a woman! Curling red hair spilling down one shoulder and onto her glimmering gown of greens and blues, with a pearl inlaid mask to match. Gracious as always, and mildly amused by this intruder to his perfect party, he accepts. She is skilled, of that there is no doubt. On the dance floor none can take their eyes away from the pair, for she contains grace that no dame on the floor possesses, and he the skill of a millennia, outstripping the variety of strutting peacocks decorating the ballroom. For the Master, none had intrigued him so for quite some time, and he enjoyed their dance thoroughly. But, the warmth in her hands and the pulse in her pale, swan like neck told that she was but to be another meal. Perhaps a savored dessert... As the party came to an end, and the orchestra's notes slowed to a stop, a woman exited the estate that morning. Head held high and a pleased smile on her lips, her dress of red and mask of rubies was a fair testimony to the trail of crimson she left behind. A perfect party has only the most dramatic of ends after all, and she had been happy to assist if it meant she could claim another Olde One as her prey.

A Night at the plantation that is always quiet and abandoned but still sometimes you can hear music as if something or someone was still alive in there. I will never forget the day I went there. It was a summer day in 1932 I was only 17 years old and always had my head in the clouds. One day a new family came to the neighborhood, they all looked so handsome and were very light on their feet. One of my friends said they were from Europe from some handsome old family there, I didn't care much where they came from. But I couldn't take my eyes off their daughter as if she had bewitched me when I took a look into her eyes. But they didn't look like any eyes I had seen before because they were almost completely blood red. She was dressed in a full white dress with long dark black hair and her skin was so pale that you could almost believe she was not from this world. One night when I was out with my friends I saw her standing alone by the roadside, I walked up to her and said "Hey isn't it a bit late to be out here all alone?" She looked at me with her red, wonderful eyes and said with a little grin "I'm alone, I'm never alone at night because that's when I feel most alive and not as empty and lonely as I do when I'm lying down and sleeping" I looked away from her and said "That wasn't the answer I expected but I guess you guys from Europe are a little more different than us here in the US" She started laughing as if I said something really funny and walked a few steps forward and stood right in front of me and looked into my eyes and said "You're very funny my name is Emma what's your name?" I started to sweat my neck felt like someone was strangling me, but I answered her with a nervous chuckle and said "Bruce, my name is Bruce" she took her hand and grabbed my hand but her hand felt really cold but still warm somehow. "Very nice to meet you Bruce, my family and I are moving in here for a big dance that is going to be held up at Blueberry Hill, Do you know that place? I was completely terrified and said in a very scared voice" You don't mean where the old plantation is, no one lives there and they say it is haunted" She looked at me and laughed a little with a happy tone" Haunted yes we can always hope for that, no but it will be a big dance with people from all over the world coming and it is a dance that is only held once every 180 years, yes I know this will sound a little strange because we have just met and that but I feel like you are the one, so I wonder if you would like to go there with me as my date?" My heart almost jumped out of my body and I replied" Oh wouldn't it be good if you asked your parents if it is okay with them, if it is okay with them then I will come as your date" She was completely overjoyed and start running home. I had completely forgotten about my friends and went back to them. "sorry guys but I got a little stuck over there with the neighbor girl, her name is Emma and she's from Europe and she asked if I wanted to go on a date with her, there's a dance that's going to be held up at Blueberry Hill" as soon as I said that they all jumped up and one of my closest friends replied "But Bruce you know that it's completely abandoned up there no one has lived there for 180 years" Then I replied and slapped my friend on the back "How funny she said that this dance is only held once every 180 years" It only took a few seconds then another friend said completely scared "She and her family might be vampires!" The others were completely scared but I just laughed and said "Yeah sure and her brother is a werewolf, don't be stupid now guys just because she and her parents are from Europe doesn't mean they're Vampires" Then we all started laughing and gave each other a hug and handshake. I myself started walking home and felt very tired. After dinner I went up to my room and read a little, then after the clock was about 12 I went to bed. But then all of a sudden I could hear a sound coming from my window, it was as if someone was tapping it lightly with their finger. I went up and looked out and on the other side of the window Emma was standing there in the middle of the air. I could hardly believe my eyes and thought I must still be dreaming. But then I saw how her red eyes started to shine and then I knew that this was not a dream. She opened her mouth and said "My parents said yes to you being my date at the dance, they are really looking forward to meeting you" "The Dance of the Damned Chapter 1 The Boy and the Girl with the Red Eyes

In a castle surrounded by huge walls the cool wind was blowing her black hair away .Instantaneously she felt a shadow behind her and looked into the most beautiful ,crimson eyes she has ever seen .She felt a strange familiar feeling and longing from that man , he elegantly twirled the wine in his glass and spoke with a deep yet mellow voice ,calm yet full of sorrow"Do u rember me my dear?" those few words of that mysterious stranger left her in a trance . she felt a strange throbbing pain in her head recalling the memories which were buried centuries ago. The moon ,he who had witnessed everything in the past ,yet once again Witnessing the history forgotten.The bright moon iluminating the dark sky which was once silver turned crimson,just like the mysteriously charming yet familiar stranger's eyes everyone in the banquet hall froze up ,as if the time has been stopped she slowly opened her CRIMSON red eyes revealed her fangs as if she has become a different being .The blood flowing in her viens which was forgotten was awakened once again ;yes, a vampire the creature she was afraid of the most.She spoke with an angelic voice ,soothing yet full of despair " how can I forget u my dear? THIS TIME nothing can apart us ",yes she was Rosalyn the princess of vampire's who was killed by her own people for loving a human who was Duke Aloysius De Roy .He dashed and hugged her ,humming a nostalgic hymn while laughing sinisterly .He slowly revealed his fangs and said "dearest Rosalyn in previous life I could never make u mine but in this life I will fight death for you ".She froze up when she realized he was Lucardious, the reason of Aloysius and her death.

5 years later I come back to this.. Absolute mysterious, ominous, yet beautiful, charming piece.. Bravo! Makes you really wanna host a party somewhere in the mystic locations in the formers lands of Wallachia, Romania. There'd be a thunderous sound, Then suddenly, out of nowhere, everyone would come in umbric, gothic costumes (you would assume), start dancing away the ominous night, you would notice strange dancing patterns you have never seen before, then realize.. this is not an ordinary party dance, you felt the odd one out, you were dancing, everyone else was waltzing, this continued on, but as you felt the music calm down.. you *knew* something was about to happen, then the music boomed as everyone reveals themselves to be a vampire! However you felt no fear, no panic, no fight or flight, you would then feel seduced by them, you then start waltzing like them despite having no knowledge you just somehow are doing it.., and one of them grabs you and turns you, you then felt understood and everyone would waltz in this glorious, endless waltz, and as the music calms down, you feel the loop and you would waltz on and on and on and on.. and on and on.. in this endless yet charming loop. It's scary how creative someone can get just by listening to a piece of music. That's how powerful it is! Again Bravo!
