Anxiety comes from experiencing a certain awareness of your own thoughts and you essentially get stuck in your own mind and it causes you to lose control over your body. Simple things that are usually done subconsciously or without much thought are kind of shifted to your conscious mind and it disrupts your natural flow state. This is what anxiety is in my opinion from my experiences.

I would say think about adrenaline also, I believe that saves you more the anxiety. A couple of my friends have anxiety, and it seems more based on fear or worry.
