I run 3 Genta and 2 Gates and thinking about going down to 2 Genta. I saw u going with only 1 Genta and 2 gates. How’s the consistency of your deck build?

Genta should be played at 1 or removed alongside The Gates of Dark World for a few reasons. It's bad to draw multiples of it, and Gates is a brick; it's bad going second, and Gates plays badly into hand traps.

To limit Genta/Gates package to 3 cards. You can also just cut them for 3x Genex Ally Birdman and Baronne (+ some other changes) to improve going 2nd and add consistency in opening hands. I'll make a video on it in the future

There is... a lot wrong here. The genta/gates ratios in particular when you're playing 3 upstart, 3 allure, 1 broww, and 1 goki pole as filler that doesn't get you anywhere. And the reason you're happy with a bad main deck list is that you don't have a proper appreciation for what a competent pilot can accomplish with a good extra deck. Hint hint, your extra deck is god awful and just because you can make the most of a shit extra deck with a gimped main deck doesn't mean you're doing it right.

@@gravethestampede3454 Because I've now had the distinct displeasure to see for the first time, despite seeing dozens upon dozens of Dark World deck lists, someone playing 1 Genta and 2 Gates. I've seen 3 Genta and 2 Gates but I've NEVER seen anyone play 2 and 2 let alone 1 and 2. And more often then not being the only one different means you're doing something wrong. The baffling part is that in the replays shown they seem to know how to actually pilot the deck. I ain't bashing their dueling skills but there's a whole dimension to DW they just haven't explored. Right now a package of 1 Akashic Magician, 1 Security Dragon, 1 Knightmare Cerberus, 1 Knightmare Phoenix, 1 Knightmare Unicorn, 1 Tri-gate Wizard, 1 kngihtmare Gryphon, 1 underworld goddess is more or less the standard in the TCG. Or at least it's standard for those not playing with a small unchained package or mixing in fiendsmith cards. You add Knightmare Goblin and Apollousa if you're on master duel. Let's consider going first in the TCG (Apollousa is banned) and your Ceruli gets hit by bystial so you can't hand rip. Well the list in the video would be boned. All it has to offer is a grapha fusion and s:p and whatever would replace apo. However, the current "standard" tcg end board is muck, cerb/pheonix, tri-gate, gryphon, grapha fusion with a space left open for sillva to ss itself when discarded by an opponent's effect modified by the grapha fusion. let's consider how to make this board as efficiently as possible 1. Akashic to bounce your own danger (and ceruli but we don't have one in this scenario) 2. 2 bodies into security dragon is possible (also a chance to bounce ceruli here) if wanted otherwise skip directly to 3. 3. Tri-gate below akashic (use akashic effect to mill 3 and call whatever you still need. If you haven't seen corridor call corridor. If you've seen corridor call archives. Etc). 4. Aksich + 1 into Unicorn. Unicorn discards a danger, a bounced reign-beaux, zpehyros, accession or whatever is applicable to draw 1 and spin gates back for another use (4 possible uses of gates, 5 if you play zephyros) 5. Make muck up top (muck can bring back any of the knightmares for more link climbing into whatever) 6. Unicorn +1 into gryphon. Gryphon discards to draw 1 and set whatever you need 7. 2 bodies into cerb/phoenix which ever you prefer. (Cerb is useful to clean up a left over ceruli on the opponent's field) And somewhere along the line get grapha fusion up and running. In master duel you'll want apollousa up top and you can use knightmare goblin to climb into unicorn and for another draw. This set of cards is also useful going second. Akashic and Security bounce monsters, tri-gate with a co-link 2 can banish a targeted card, phoenix pops back row, cerb pops a monster, unicorn spins a targeted card back to the deck. It's the same set of cards with the same line of play but you're breaking boards instead of hand ripping and setting your own board up. The whole package works with and builds on each other where torpedo?, cerubini, azalea, hagard lizarddose, the light sworn etc are just independent pieces that aren't part of a greater whole. *shrugs* Cards like Skull Dread, Coach King, and s:p are all optional as well. They're not mandatory includes by any means. Edit: honestly the knightmare cards on master duel are a better draw engine then torepedo, lizardoze, and whatever else not.
