You can also play moray of greed instead of playing pot of desires so if you open with multiple of the same monsters you can just recycle your extra copies and draw 3

For your extra deck I'd highly recommend Orea, The Sylvan High Arbiter. It's easily brought out via Strenna and can bounce 3 cards the opponent has on field back to hand. Works well cos you can normally send a level 6 or 8 plant to look at top 6-8 cards and rearrange them so that you excavate 1-3 plants to then bounce opponent cards - makes OTK very possible with this deck. Other notable mentions to include in extra deck are: Fair Knight Ingunar - bounces entire field and can attack for game if the situation arises. Number 87: Queen of the Night - Easily made via Strenna, only used to push for extra attack for OTK possibility, other effects are alright. True King of All Calamities - only run if you run Mardel, difficult to summon due to being locked into plant special summons most of the time, but possible and pretty much a win condition. I found it's not worth running non-plant extra deck monsters as you're locked into plants 99% of the time if you're playing Rikka's properly. Black Rose Dragon(and VFD) is the only exception and tbh is only used if you're in a pinch and need to clear board and have no other options. Other techs: Cactus Bouncer - can be searched via Glamour (if tributing a plant, search Primula and Cactus) or Mardel. Drop this when you finished your special summons/have advantage and watch opponent scoop. Evilswarm Mandragora - can be searched via Glamour (if tributing a plant, search Primula and Mandragora) or Mardel. Used as going second extender for more bodies and fodder to make Strenna etc.

Dude Fair Knight requires 2 xyz materials, Strenna only gives 1. Bruh moment.

@@TotallySearch I never suggested making fairy knight using Strenna. It's a decent inclusion as it's somewhat feasible to get 3 lvl 6s on the field for Rikka's. Tis a situational card I'll admit but can win games. Also with xyz import now, there is now higher potential/chance to use fair knight by making him with strenna then using xyz import to give him an additional xyz mat.

I made a control oriented version of this deck, which uses trap holes, Solemn bridages as well as the spiritual water art. It’s super consistent and going first gives me a huge advantage but going second almost always ends in a loss . Still, beautiful archetype and really underrated.

I love Rikka so much, it's my favorite of the 3 SESL archetypes, though arguably the weakest. Aside from Teardrop, this deck is really budget friendly, which is nice. Teardrop isn't too horrible either, 10-ish bucks as of now It's able to output a lot of power and it's very fun :)

Wouldn't Where are thou? be better than desires? It makes level 1's accessible too, and you won't pay the cost because you'd summon it anyways.

It looks pretty strong honestly. What would the budget be? Also, instead of running the Thorn card that tributes for damage, could Ash Bloss be run instead? I mean Ash is a staple and this deck can get around A LOT in the current metta. But also, if Called By were to be run instead to prevent your plays being shut down by said Ash, would that make more sense?

the most expensive card is the Rank 8, teardrop. Everything else could easily be bought for ~£30 (close to $40)

@@nathankidd2840 its a rouge deck at best rn. It just needs more support. It CAN put up enough interruptions to win if it goes first. But it struggles to play through established boards without blowout cards like droplets or drnm. Not saying that it can never win going 2nd, but its an extremely uphill battle.

I tried using other cards, but u really need the evil thorn for consistent combos
