I recently went and had to fight Midir at SL90 for a mage build to get 'Old Moonlight' spell. I was surprised that the best spells to use against him was normal Soul Spear(better FP cost) and Pestilent Mist (Huge damage for non moving attacks).

i have sellsword twinblade +10 and still can't get to his 2nd phase i tried getting naked to get fast rolls and flynn ring but midir almost killed me in 1 hit XD
