Alatreon, Monster Hunter World | Made in Spore!

Fun fact, Alatreon was the second ever Monster Hunter creature I made! With the Fatalis being my first. I made my first Alatreon creation in 2014 and completely screwed it up, most notably was I only gave it a single headcrest, then in 2016 I tried again with vast improvements but overall not perfect. Now with Alatreon being announced for 2020 I could not help but remake it a third time, and hopefully this time being closer to the real deal! Though I had a lot of issues with the colourscheme, as I was seeing all sorts of red, black, blue and even beige interpretations - I tried to go with an obsidian black/blue in the end, hopefully it works out!

It's always amusing to see the big scary dragon trying too look cute. Anyway, this creation is really well done! When I saw the thumbnail, it took way too long for me to realise that it was a Spore creation and not Zbrush.

Yep. Custom wings in Spore are for nothing but show. The in-game wings don't even lift you up that much.

There has been a mod created that should improve the animation of custom wings - admittedly I really should give that mod some practice - but I do agree though, the animations overall are just lacking. Even regular wings tend to make the creature have a really bizarre flight animation.
