What do you think about the HyperX Quadcast VS Rode PodMic? Considering the pricing is similar but USB vs XLR. I currently have a Wave:3 USB but I don't like it anymore and believe it has lost its' full function.

My friend I need help .. my original wire has been broke .. I try it with different wire but same type USB mini .. but it does not work.. what's the problem?? Does it only work with it main wire .. I mean does it need strong wire that take more electricity power?

@DarkenedCyrus I liked it alot but then I upgraded it the RCP2 and then the Rodecaster Duo. My RCP2 has power button issues, so I have to send it back to Rode for replacement.

I kept from doing a recommendation and leaving it open ended as it was more of a first impression. I need to do some more testing with it, but out of box, I like the way it sounds. I think the Wave 3 offers more options for the same price with their software, so I’d recommend that just from a software point of view

I have a dedicated sound card in my PC. It’s a Creative Sound BlasterX AE-5 Plus and the inputs are 3.5mm. Any good desk mic recommendations that aren’t USB?? I’m having a hard time finding one. Thanks!
