Another thing to note about Virtue Scamming is that you also have to worry about the light turning a dark blue/cyan-like color if a hero rolls Refracted from the Farmstead.

that is with the CoM DLC enabled, correct - I didn't think about it, since it only comes up in runs with the DLC and is thus much rarer

Nice video, thanks. Is there any sort of discord or other community still active to discuss such things? I've discovered that if you send an empty expedition to to the Darkest Dungeon it grants you the x2 xp buff without needing a level 5/6 guy first.

Did anything happen to this guy? He went silent since and was hoping he be playing speed run darkest dungeon 2. Learnt sooo much from his videos and currently working on Stygian difficult and almost getting there. Those rng are not heavily in my favor …maybe one day I’ll achieve it…

Are you playing on PC? Since on PS4 the scardywarp sadly isn't possible to do.

when I go to darkest dungeon with a hero that has already been there, they get 80 stress and -25 virtue... can I somehow bypass that?

not on radiant sadly. On darkest or stygian you can with the "scardywarp".

Why in your speed runs you allways turn off DLCs

Because there are to categories of speedruns: no DLCs and with DLCs. That's because with DLCs (mostly CoM) you can abuse shard mercenaries to send them to DD.
