Did anyone else's heart just start to gently break in two from the somber sadness of this magnificent bastards' violin? I mean that with nothing but respect and endearment Paul lol. Deeply touched by this. I'm kicking myself for getting hip to it so late.

now someone come and say playing violin is so oldschool. I love what you do with your skills and how you always keep up experimenting and learning new stuff.. there's a true artist in you and I'm glad that I found you here. keep it up and take care.

I used to be a bit sceptical, when yet another 'news update' was uploaded to this channel. But now that you're putting these vid's online, I'm stunned.. You've grown A LOT. Your music is fresh and new and I'm getting really curious to your next album! One suggestion though: why not show the cello some love? I'm a cello player myself and though most of your songs demand a high, light 'voice', like darkest point, songs like break could have more 'body' with a deeper voice along side your violin

Here's the deal. i'm not of your demographic. (As in I'm WAY older than are you). Grew up on big band sounds, to Ledbetter to Flatt and Scruggs to Stephan Grapelli, to Joan Baez, to Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee, to Chris Smither to others I can't think of right now. You are up there with my favorites. Absolutely love almost all your stuff. What I don't love I sure like a lot. As someone of my generation would say, keep up the good work sonny-boy
