@Roslyn_Lee I'm Korean and I shop at Korean cosmetic stores. Korean skin tones vary.. some are pale, some are darker (but not that dark).... and I know there are different ways to do make up, but in general, people want to appear "whiter" in tone. Every single time I go to a Korean owned cosmetic store they always suggest a lighter tone, and whenever they want to recommend a product or complement it, they tell me word for word, "this will make you whiter" LOL

I have a theory. Tirtir sent the first 9 shades to a lot of black/brown content creators and those shades were obviously waaaay too light for them. It takes MONTHS to manufacture shades and packaging, do photoshoots for the new swatches, and update the website and retailers on the new changes. I feel like tirtir always had these shades but released darker ones slowly to gain more attention and make it seem like they did something "new". It's still good that they have these shades but something tells me this was their plan all along.

Its good for their marketing too, since they're becoming more known outside of Korea. Now more people can and will buy their products, which is a win-win!

And it’s actually a skin shade! Not straight black face paint! I love this!! It’s wild a KOREAN company can do this in a couple months while companies based in other countries with wildly higher populations of black people will go ‘we’re working on it’ for years and come out with products that show they didn’t even try. This brand went ‘say less, we got you’ and delivered!

What western beauty brands have struggled to do properly for years (and as a brown skin girl, wide majority still make warm brown shades basically orange), a Korean beauty brand does in 2 months. Crazy.

That is amazing, it just shows you that Korean Beauty isn't exclusive if given half a chance they do what every makeup brand SHOULD do. Excellent TirTir!

I love it but it should have more dark shades between light and really dark shades like, it's just my opinion

They went from 8 to 30 shades in two months. The fact that they have a shade that works for even the darkest people is insane. Most American brands aren't even CLOSE. I think it's just the beginning. Also: note the undertones are gorgeous instead of that ridiculously warm toned orange paint brands give to black girls and say "this is what you asked for right 🥰"

give the brand time, making new shades isn't easy I'm sure they're still working to do different shades between warm, neutral and cold tones :)

Love your enthusiasm and excitement. This brand expanding their product line is great business. But i do want to say that I am sure that was already in progress as the development, to prouction, to the dustribution process takes way longer than a few months. 👍
