That part of Barb screaming Nancy's name as she shoots Vecna hit SO. HARD. You made a connection there that I think 100% is in Natalia's performance but is buried pretty deep in the subtext of that moment. We get so caught up in the "WOO!! Nancy's got a gun!! Robin threw a Molotov cocktail!! Vecna's on fire!! Running Up That Hill is playing!! Hopper's got a sword!! The heroes are winning!!" of that moment that I don't think I'd fully clocked until now that for Nancy, she's firing at her best friend's murderer. That badass look in her eye is absolutely for Barb.

I have been trying to come up with a worthy comment for weeks, and I just can't do it, so apologies in advance for how lacklustre this is going to be. Honestly, I don't even know where to start. You have done such a fantastic job of capturing every single facet of what makes her such a compelling character, and how truly extraordinary (and criminally underrated) her character development has been over the years. I love my ships as much as the next person, but it is so unbelievably frustrating to see how often she is reduced to a prize in a love triangle, or even just the girl with the guns. She is, and always has been, so much more and complicated than that. And I love how well you've shown that - the good and the bad. Because she is so wonderfully flawed, and very, very human. And everything about your editing on this is so on point (and truly massive props for the ending, because I know how much you were struggling with it, and yet it isn't even remotely noticeable, you're talent is truly insane). The pacing, the scene and voiceover choices (and the parallels in those choices), the way the video _feels_ just like Nancy. It's a work of art, and truly an absolute masterpiece (I mean, I knew it would be, with you editing how could it be anything, but as I always said _knowing_ and seeing the finished product - again, the previews were a wonder in and of themselves - are two vastly different experiences). And reading that description...I truly look forward to (and fear) what you will come up with for the other characters. Your Stranger Things character studies are truly off to a phenomenal start. I am in awe, and I am speechless.

yo, YES! yes, yes, yes! I've been waiting for ( a giiirl like youuu~ [booo!] ) a character study video for nancy to pop up because she's one of my favorite characters, but it's been so frustrating because she's *such* a great character, but she continues to be so severely underrated and dismissed by the, ah, louder fans of the show, that there aren't nearly as many videos for her as there should be... but sheesh!! you went and spoiled us with this one, wow. seriously. the editing/clip choices/pacing/coloring is all so great, but the biggest reason why this one crushes is because the energy/vibe of the video matches nancy, too. wow. i really, really love this.
