140mm fans at the front grill won't fit without modifying the case. I had to use a dremel on two parts of the case to get 2 x 140mm fans to fit. Also had to bend the cable cover in between the SSD mounts a little and now no drives will fit to the right of the motherboard. I had to mount my SSD on the drive cage in the PSU shroud, so now there is only space for 1 more HDD/SSD. If you use 120m fans in the front, you will have room for 2 x SSDs next to the motherboard and 2 x HDDs in the PSU shroud.

My case didn’t come with the goodie bag in the back with the screws and stuff. Also high key I know you addressed it but that card placement isn’t gonna make me comfortable. But overall I live the video and it gives me a lot of information.

I have an msi b550 pro vdh wifi motherboard and the pcie x16 slot happens to be on the first expansion slot so no gpu clearance issue😁 I guess you wanna find a motherboard with that configuration to get around that issue if you plan on getting this case. Anyway it's a great case and great review mate cheers.

micah brinton it’s great. i can do pretty much everything, vr, gta works great, and i run minecraft at 350 fps, fortnite at like 200. no complaints at all. if he hasn’t already ordered the parts, tell him the asrock b450 pro4 is a better motherboard. i like the steel legend and it looks cool but it’s not amazing for overclocking. if he wants to do some light over clocking like me, he can get the processor to around 3.9 or 4 ghz

Great review as always, and I agree it's very Similar to the Dlm 22, I'm very happy with mine though I wish it had some vent holes on the psu cover to allow that air from the bottom front fan to draw air under the gpu.

looks nice, but I'm leaning towards shelling out that extra $20 for the Fractal Design Meshify C Mini. It's a tiny bit bigger so it can give the GPU fans more clearance and my old Fractal Define C has amazing build quality for the price. I like this case, but I've heard the metal isn't fantastic, QC with the company is mediocre, and it won't be obvious to see where they cut costs until we get to see more year+ post reviews of this case.

@@eugene188 I actually ended up buying the Darkflash first, but returned it. The metal was light, but had a cheap feel--especially in the rear. Also one of the magnet covers for the tempered glass panel (so it doesn't make a loud noise when shutting) actually peeled off immediately and was affixed with bad adhesive. The Magnets themselves were also attacked with adhesive that was badly applied and ran a little bit out from under the magnet so you had adhesive showing on the panel. the front panel and performance was fine, but they cut a ton of corners. Ended up waiting for the Define Mini C to go on sale and bought that to replace this.

you can also fit 2 140mm fans up front if you can get fans that dont have huge mounting bezels. I have two phanteks 140mm up front but theyre the version with the 120mm mounts so I can comfortably fit 2 up front. but at the very least you can run one 140mm and another 120mm fan as well.

@@jerypilapil6560 if you used a type of fan like the phanteks one i had then maybe you could squeeze 3 in there. they make a 140mm fan without the huge mounting bezels so it can be mounted into a 120mm spot. but be aware that it was a bit of a squeeze getting two 140mm in front so 3 might give you some trouble if you dont get the right design size. you might be better off trying 3 120mm instead if it doesnt work out.

I'm confused, I thought the DLM21 is the one with solid front with like a mosaic art which I'm currently using. This is great update though with the screen front for way better optimal airflow. I hope it's possible to mod the DML22 by just taking off the front panel and replacing with something like an aluminum filter.

Was looking at this case earlier for a new build video. Thanks for the overview. I have put this case on my list of upcoming builds to do. Love your build in it. You needed a different type of mATX board though. One that has the 16x PCI-E up one position to let that video card breathe a little better. I'll more then likely go with a B450 Aorus board and some corsair rgb. Have an extra h115i Platinum I wanted to use in this case, but kind of want the 3 fans in the front look like you got going on. I'll probably end up going with a Hyper 212 or something.

Picked up the DLM-21 for a media computer build. Honestly I'm impressed with this case for being under $70. You never feel like you are building in a sub $100 case. The only issue was mentioned, not being able to replace the pci slot covers if you took too many out. Good airflow and great aesthetics.

Pcie bracket that are non reusable are pretty normal for budget cases i think, so compared to other cases its not that bad of an issue.

Yeah u don't need to have 6 fans but for optimal air flow u should have em fans. Also yes the 1660 will fit in this case

You don't really need to add addressable RGB lights to this case, older solid RGB lights, or just plain white light fans will make this case pop, with white components.
