I know I truly believe he doesn't want to hurt her and feels so bad when he does and Ben plays the darkling really well , you can see his eyes well up when he's sad or hurting Alina 💔

@@HerondalesAngel and for me it is like i imagined it while reading. He is the perfect darkling and there were so many hints that he never wanted to harm or hurt her while the online persons He loves and he could have forever at his side, lied to him and betrayed him. When it wouldnt be Alina pov he wouldnt be the villain. And at some point while reading six of crows you can see what happens without darkling who protected the grisha and with that in mind, Alina can be seen as a villain too. There is so much to learn about people and their affection to other peoples lives and it is kinda weird that the author teaches us that while not letting it count as an argument for darkling and to save him. Cause everyone is the monster of someone elses Story right?
