Finally for food and water needs in DF... It's actually hilariously easy to deal with. Just grab 200 dukes and go to the nearest trader. Traders always have cooking pots and grills for sale for dirt cheap. For water make clay bowls from clay, and for food grill yucca and bake apples and you're set.

@Genosis threes yeld daily harvests. So if you find 2-3 threes in the forest you can just go and do scout quests and on your way back grab the apples. Tomatoes carrots and potatoes are also random spawns on the ground and whilst you're better off keeping them for better food (and ink production) you can always bake them for food in a pinch. Pretty sure you can make apple seeds on day one so if you can get 20ish apples you can start planting your own threes near your home. They will start yielding after about a week but can be harvested one per day afterwards.

With void storage, once you place it down, you craft a remote control and by aiming at the base of the void storage, with the remote in hand, you left click /right click (honestly can't remember which one) to link the remote to the void storage machine. At that point with the remote you can gain access to the storage machine from wherever you are in the world. Basically void storage = infinite remote storage. I think you can use the craft from containers functionality with it so it's best used to store items you rarely need (like a split/cast or antibiotics) and to yeet away any loot you find on your way. With it you can easily strip down entire towns at a time without having to get back to base.

Darkness Falls is absolutely a favorite overhaul of mine, I've always been fond of learn by doing and the class system, the ability to learn all the classes adds to the end game too. The 😉 succubus demons are fun too!

Also repairable vehicles was also undead legacy, that grind for the vehicle repair kit tears me apart.

Yep, I know why the sound is, just not what and where the sound is lol. Apparently it's not based on an object, but a zoned area with a script that plays a sound file. So, impossible to disable which is odd.

For those wondering why every zombie that sounds as a cop will vomit here's some context: Before this only cops could spip like in vanilla but late game the demonic zombies versions could all throw fireballs at you. Regardless what zombie they were. Khaine changed that so only cop type zombies can do that but to avoid making it too easy for us he also made other zombies behave like cops. Off the top of my head we have cops(obviously), big mamas, tourist guys, hazmat guys, and mutated. They are all essentially cops. This change makes early game more difficult but also makes demons less painful to deal with.

On that "V.O.I.D.," can you put stuff in it and then pick it up, set it down, and still have the items in it? If so, that essentially gives you a way to take 65,000 items with you on a move or whatever.

Good question! I wish I had tried that... in fact, one second... confirmed, you cannot pick it up. The pick up icon disappears when anything is listed.

Raincatchers have been changed due to idiots leaving them to spawn water uncontrolled on teh ground in servers. Now they act like Dew Collectors in that is you put in iron buckets they fill the bucket which yo ucan take out and place where you want the water.

In some mods, yes. I think Afterlife has tiered damage reduction based on quality. But that may be one of the few, and I don't think here. Actually, repairing something when you dont have the skill to maintain the level may lower DPS here

Make a copy of the 7 days to die folder in your steamapp directory. Put it wherever you like. Drop the mods folder from the desired mod into this copy, and make a shortcut directly to the 7DaysToDie.exe that is inside that folder. Bam, sandbox modded game. I have a few videos going over the process too!

not sure if it was just me, but the drobox download seems to give me errors on loading the game. mainly about Harmony, i get some loading into a world as well. but other then those it seems to work so far. downloading from the other link as well to see if thats just a thing between the two or if the dropbox one has some files either missing or corrupted Update: downloaded from both links, fresh install of the mods folder both times. constant errors loading the game up, lots of errors loading the world, zombies dont move. the last version was working well, now the game no longer works right. i verified integrity of files and loaded it up, still gives the same errors and zeds dont move. Most of the errors seem to revolve around Harmony still, tempted to remove it just to see if stuff works again

Yeah, I tried this threw the launcher and once it gets to the "Load Screen" I get bunch of crap like I have open an Admin Menu, to type things.. So I do not know whats wrong with this. I tried it threw the 7D2D mod launcher.. And it wont load right

In the mod launcher there is an option for a "new/fresh" install, rather than copy it from your steam copy. I would go for that. It used the Steam command interface to download it directly from steam, and into a sandboxed folder.

File too big? Maybe it's trying to transfer to your own Dropbox. I'd review the download options and ensure it's downloading to your PC, not transferring to your cloud account.
