The only? Aeon, himself was an awesome character and for an arena fighter, it did a good job being fun enough to see the whole story through, even for the less fun characters. The music is irrefutably the best part, yeah. But I count more things to like than most, probably.

@@authorbat5562 Your POV, mine is from someone who 100% the game and is a huge (butthurt) Castlevania fan since 20 years, but I did forget one thing yes: the Time reaper was an interesting final boss and could have been a fantastic addition lorewise, far more than Aeon in that matter. For the rest, Obata's designs were just rehashed designs from other licenses with a Death Note touch, and bad taste on top for certain characters like Maria, Sypha or Simon, who looked garbage at best. As for the story, it was enough for a fighting game, but it's IGA-tier, meaning it's a huge mess despite a few good ideas but in the end, story does not really matter for fighting games. And for the gameplay, it was anything but memorable, as it is usually for 3d arena fighters, a few hours in and you can see what's busted and eat the game quickly. It's good if you liked it, but IMO, it was mediocre, and believe me, when I heard Cornell was gonna be in + knowing the general quality of the music, I was hoping for the best.
