Oh man, this podcast feels like such a hidden gem of the d&d community. I just started listening yesterday and already am I emotionally invested in the characters! Caellach's mannerisms and decisions in particular resonated so much with me since I also play a cleric in my home game. I'm very excited to continue listening to you guys, especially since I've got hundreds of episodes left to catch up 😅. I've barely scratched the surface of what this adventure has to offer!

I dont know how this isn't getting more attention, Im an avid critical role Dimension 20 viewer and have been DMing myself for a few years now And this is probably the best example of what a home game should feel like the others are clearly for viewers entertainment, this has such a warm wholesome feel about it reminiscent of my own sessions. LOVING IT!

iirc we’re using the word arcane to distinguish from non-magic damage. Like a +1 sword, for example.

@@ventureforthdnd oooooh, I see now. That makes sense in most cases as not every enemy will be resistant, vulnerable, or immune to certain damage types. The GM will likely ask for damage type clarification if the enemy has one it those options
