@@flammables_father This is how I think things would go if Herbert didn't shoot himself (A) Herbert gets killed anyways, and turned into a true risen due to how in the ending Chris ate part of Herbert(joke) since he was VERY hungry, so it's clear the corrupt Chris would attempt to kill Herbert.(B) Herbert gets corrupted but doesn't die, and so therefore he could still be saved in the future but since I'm not sure how resistance for Peter) Quagmire in final fight, and Twinkle works overall Herbert would fail in resisting.

5:13 "well, he always said he wanted to explode all over me" - Chris Griffin but seriously though HOLY SHIT that ending, I can't even BEGIN to think of what I want to say, the instrumental, the vocals, you can hear how distraught Herbert sounds to see Chris like this, seriously this goes too hard for a bonus song, this sounds like something they should put in the story mode. now let's get to the ending, I know there's probably gonna be some arguments about if Herbert shot himself or if Chris tore him to shreds, but what I think happened is that Herbert wanted to end the pain and suffering he's gone through, he knows he stands no chance against the darkness, especially when it throws CHRIS at him, he can't take it anymore, so he shot himself, then Chris tore up his mangled body while Herbert was still ALIVE before he lost consciousness, and with the last of his energy, he sang his heart out (because when his body is on screen you can still hear him singing) before eventually losing consciousness and accepting that things will never be the same, and letting the darkness take over his body. 10/10 instantly, Weednose & Pizzapogg REALLY outdid themselves when making this song, both of them are like cookies and milk (can't think of a better comparison) because they're both good in their own way, but when they're TOGETHER, just... MMMMMMMM! chefs kiss. Weednose and Pizzapogg, if either of you are reading this, first of all, thanks for taking the time to read this, and second, I just want you to know how good you two are at making songs, before this, two of my favorite pibby songs were Rotten Family Pizzapoggified, and Aftermath (the one Weednose made) this feels just like a PERFECT blend of both of your music styles, the fast intensity of a Weednose song, and the slow emotional piano parts of a Pizzapogg song when put together make something just out of this world, this song has to be BOTH of your best work, STRAIGHT to the playlist. I can't believe this whole mod and lore spiraled from a "what if Family Guy got corrupted?" image someone made, it's just unbelievable to think that if those images were never made, this mod, the lore, this SONG, just would've never happened, and I for one just couldn't imagine this mod not existing with how good it's been so far, can't wait for V1 to drop next year. (hopefully) R.I.P Herbert, you will be missed, not by a lot of people in the Family Guy universe, but to us, you will be missed, you fought like a warrior all the way to the end, and for that, I salute you!

This is easily one of the best DT songs out there, and well worth the wait. I was not expecting that ending at all but like- PizzaPogg made the art so obviously it was brutal. Please, please, please, drop the instrumental somewhere. I'd love to listen to it separately. This is easily the strongest instrumental to any DT song yet, and I remember listening to the teasers multiple times because of that. It feels like a mix between AFG and Carwreck, and everything comes together just perfectly. Chris's vocals are really good, I'm glad we got to hear them for something beyond his brief segment in AFG. Fantastic work guys, this was amazing.

It sounds very cool, no worse than the first original teaser, especially Hubert's vocals, he's awesome just like QLS, even better. But I hope that each song will have a special mechanic in the key of new songs, I am ready to wait if the DT update comes out earlier than the QLS mod in a place with the gameplay of the songs. For developers. it would not be bad to add a video cut of the scene between the songs. example: how the glick infection started in Quahog. How did bf end up in the Quahog universe and how did he escape from the glitch, how did he run into the griffin house?(this should be done before the start of the ready set go) For Laura, Lois's sprites are updated exactly when she throws bf through the window so that there is animation. And in the end, Brian was swallowed up, and Stu Wu ran to his room looking for salvation. Well, then I think you'll figure out the ending of the video plot in the cut scenes how to finish them. the thing i love most about this song the most is the detail in herbert's botched suicide. he tries his hardest to get chris out of the darkness during the song, all to no avail. in the last part of the song, he shoots chris with his shotgun as a last attempt to save his own life. herbert doesn't want to hurt chris, but he realizes he is already gone. as he loads his last shot herbert hesitates. this could be him seeing the damage the darkness and himself have done to chris (it's all still images so i'm not sure), and/or him realizing he's powerless against the darkness. at the end of the song he decides to turn the shotgun on himself before firing. chris gets to him before the shot kills him, the darkness spreading to herbert as an act to keep him alive after the blast from the shotgun, leaving him barely conscious as the pain and darkness consumes him. he sings a few eerie, out of tune notes before he fully succumbs. imagining yourself as herbert, this entire thing becomes truly terrifying. one person against some force of nature not even god himself can describe, one of your closest friends being used as its puppet. i can only imagine the sheer horror going through herbert's mind through all this.
