Love these stories! Was a cna,medical assistant, phlebotomist turned hospice (I get bored easy) I always learned open the window after a residents passing. Sometimes, they still wander, and you just remind them to go to bed and pinch yourself bc you know that nawmaw passed a few weeks ago. It gets weird. I was my pops hospice cna we still hear him from time to time

Yea, my sister works at an old folks home and also opens the window after someone passes. This is for exactly no reason though. It's just a wives tale from that trade, a tradition at best. If that didn't ruin the illusion of the allegedly true motif of these stories, then the part where the employer gives the "Now a Warning!" threat after signing the contract trope. The goat man story is similar to what happened to my mother and I. Except it wasn’t a monster but it was an evil person. We lived in a nice peaceful street. Then one day this lowlife moved in. He was a nasty poisonous creature. At one point he was running a brothel out of his house. There were people in the street who had children. These lowlifes ruined the street and people including my mother and I had to move out. I have driven past the old house since then and it looks like someone is using it as a drug factory or a hydroponic marijuana plantation. All it takes sometimes is for one lowlife to move in to the neighbor hood and it’s ruined.

Major plot hole in the last story: OP kept the radio (earlier he said he noticed on the desk, implying it wasn't his) when he left the job. A lot of the stories you read are believable enough that they get me thinking about what non-paranormal explanation they could have, but that last one is about as believable as the "trust me, you want to give it the garbage" story. Side note: I am a believer in ghosts and many cryptids, but I also believe that most "paranormal" experiences are not paranormal.
