@@zachpro5475 yet there is no real issue in making a damn difficulty slider whereas gym leaders have not one but 8 different teams depending on the time yu face them with scaling levels. Balancing is also not an excuse, they have so, so, so many YEARS of competative tournaments they can look up on to balance each fight. Its like a WEEK of extra programming to setup gymleaders with matching teams which can be done by a single person in a youtube video on like 1 day of research. Not just 8 different teams, but also scaling them with your lvl. So if you overlevel that 1 pokemon to oblivion youre gonna be in for a bad time. That would be enough of a challenge. All it needs to be kid friendly again is an option at the start. "Is this your first journey?" Options beeing "Yes (Easy) No (Normal) Ive seen everything (Hard)" Whereas "Normal" difficulty would just have scaling enemys but not 8 teams. Scaling enemies is like 3 lines of code? There are so many things that could be done to appease their audience of which they clearly know is not "just" kids but the "kids" that grew up with this franchise for 25+ years now! So yes, Make fun of them for doing a shit job
