Steppenwolf is the uncle of Darkseid (Uxas), Apokolyptians are all power hungry, Steppenwolf tried to overthrow the king but Uxas had stolen the Omega force for himself which made him the famed Darkseid, afterwards Darkseid banished Steppenwolf and he had to conquer a number of worlds to be allowed back home in Apokolips, which is approximately 50k worlds when Steppenwolf is on earth. But he finds out the ultimate Trump Card that is the biggest obsession of Darkseid, AntiLife equation, and Darkseid says fuck it, just make Earth ready for me by synchronising the mother boxes and turning Earth into Apokolips and that's all that he needed for redemption. And perhaps this is about lex meaning both of them, also in the BvS Ultimate Edition, you can see Lex contacting Steppenwolf

The references in Dawn of Justice were definitely referring to Darkseid. The Omega Symbol is the symbol of Darkseid, not Steppenwolf. Steppenwolf is just a precursor to Darkseid and Steppenwolf doesn’t have the Omega Effect like Darkseid has, where Darkseid can vaporize people or send them to a Hell called the Omega Sanction.

Can’t we all appreciate that Darkseid exiled his own Uncle and had him suffer a horrible defeat like he suffered in the past? Also it would be cool if the voice of Darkseid from the Snyder Cut, Ray Porter got invited to be the voice of Khorne, God of Chaos in Warhammer 40,000 on Amazon?

I would argue that his talents might be better served as a significant Khorne character rather than the god himself just because the Chaos Gods are almost meant to be seen as just ideas rather than people or characters. Plus, having him play as the voice of Skarbrand or Kabanda would mean that we would get to hear his voice much more often as his character would be appearing quite often in the story when compared with Khorne himself. And for another thing, in my opinion, having Khorne shatter a planet in half with his sword would be very much in keeping with the god of Blood and Murder as opposed to speaking a monologue. Imagine a battle that centers around the Blood Angels and their history with Khorne in a very "Where Angels fear to Tread" type of story and the battle, having gone on for a month or something finally culminates into this big reveal of the Blood Angels leader learning from the Khorne commander that they only wanted to fight the Blood Angels long enough for Khorne to gain enough power to manifest his will and the story ends with the planet shattering under their feet with the Blood Angels screaming their last rites to the Emperor and the Angel while the Khorne worshippers scream their holy blood chants. Such a moment would benefit greatly from having an excellent voice actor for the Khorne Commander. Anyways. That's just my tangent. 😁
